Officially Debt Free

It's hard to believe but after 4 years we are debt free (besides mortgage). It is such a good feeling.

We went from several cards with high balances, high interst rates and high minimum payments to none! We were getting nowhere with minimum payments. I have to admit, I love checking on-line and seeing zero balances.

It sure feels good. We will never get in that situation again.

To anyone that is paying off credit cards now..all I can say is good luck and stay with it. It is worth it in the end and the feeling is amazing!

I'll bet Christmas shopping will be wonderful this year. That credit card debt cloud is no longer looming over you. You can spend what is budgeted and feel good when January rolls around that you did not make the black cloud any larger. Congrats.

Obviously-it's work on the mortgage. With interest rates being as low as they are and factoring in my tax break...I'm for betting it all on Black, baby.

I'm still paying down my credit card debt and I feel good everytime I look at my balances and realize how big a dent I am making with extra payments. I can't wait until I check balances and they are all at zero!
