I'm just curious if WDW will put out a loose schedule at least so I know if I need to alter things in a timely fashion... our touring plan as of now is:
Thu: drive up/Expo/check in/DAK
Fri: Epcot or we may drop out FP+ and go see Thor at Disney Springs (it depends on personal things)
Sat: 10k/Magic (BOG lunch reservation)
Sun: check out/DAK for flights of passage/Thor if didn't see it Friday... drive home

Received the email too and was so excited. Until I clicked on it and saw that the waivers aren't there yet. Sigh. The guide is up though and the courses look good!

No email for me, but I don't think I have ever received an email about waivers from runDisney for any of the races I have done... I am depending on you guys to let me know when they are up and ready to view! Haha, thanks all!

It will almost 100-percent change to Christmas. The transformation starts the minute the park is "cleared" from the Halloween party.
MK will be all Christmas'd out on Nov. 2!

I know we arent running through MK but it would be cool if we did and they had some fall themed castle for us being the WDW weekend, the castle is christmas themed. I assume since they are already changing MK, all parks will have transitioned by then (hence the 5k formerly known as Jingle Jungle). I do LOVE their Christmas decorations but I want them to wait until after selfishly for fall themed photos
The perk is, this race will get me in the christmas mood quickly!!! LOL

I think this is the first time I ever received that notification email. Usually I see the Super sleuthing on the disboards first.

I was doing the #math on that too and I was surprised at how back loaded the corrals are. I know they always are but it seemed like it was even more so this race. #math is not my strong suit though so I wasn't sure I was looking at it right. I was excited to just be in the middle of the group!

This is how it was for Dark Side this year, too. Looks crazy on paper, but worked just fine! For DS, F had 7,000+ in it - they did mini waves for all corrals, and I think F had at least 5, maybe 6, mini-waves.

Corral D! We are very happy as we are in the same position as Dark Side.

Same sized corrals as the Dark Side Weekend. Don't get too nervous peeps about the large corrals as they started them in waves and things went quite well. Now, if you want to be in the beginning of those corrals, get there early and you will get to the front of those waves.

Well I was hoping for E for the challenge but got F. It's cool though I'm just uber excited I get to do the challenge now. From the guide I do hope that I can be in E for the 10k though. I need to be done by 730am and I'm a slow runner so will take an hour and 20 mins for the 10K at best.
