Thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts. DW and I have been up since 4, as we try to get our heads around all this. Right now, we figure we'll take it slow in the parks, and enjoy all that Imagineering has put into them. If we don't get in as many rides and attractions, then so be it. DW is coming to grips with the fact that running would be a bad idea. Saturday plan now: since we're staying at the Boardwalk, she'll find a place to sit and watch the 10k go by. If you see a petite woman with long brown hair and a boot on her left foot, swing over and give her a high five. We may ask at the Expo if she can do any volunteer work on Sunday, or where she could sit and watch the race.
Mom needs to be moved from home to a special hospice care center. Dad tours it today; she is to move tomorrow.

I'm sorry for interjecting all this so close to the weekend everyone has been working so hard for. This is our community, and we hope that everyone's troubles and pains melt away, and that everybody gets to have a magical race and experience.

We plan to be at the Expo tomorrow. Look for "boot woman" at 5'3" with a skinny guy 6' who has a goatee.

Prayers for your mom's comfort and strength for your family. My mom and I will be at the expo tomorrow and I'm doing the 10k so I'll be looking for your wife.

This may be an odd question but is the expo shopping crazy like the shopping the MVMCP?? I sure hope not because I saw people pulling and tugging for the Christmas part items and couldn't believe how nuts it was. Just want to be mentally prepared. LOL!

Yes transport to Epcot starts at 5am if I read the guide right

Theoretically, your phone will change at 2am, so setting it for 2:30 won't make a difference. That said, they don't always do it exactly at 2am, so no guarantee. I'm switching my phone to Manual and changing the time before bed so it won't automatically change on its own - I set my alarm for 1:50am, so it would get all screwed up if I let the time change happen on its own.

The merchandise preview looks great! But if they waited this long, I wish they just hadn't posted it at all. I was kind of getting used to the idea of not releasing it to hopefully keep the sellers down. Hopefully getting there by noon or so tomorrow (assuming our travel morning goes smoothly) won't be too late for some of it. I absolutely love the "I Did It" shirts. I want to get one but first of all don't know which one (10K, half, or Challenge) and also don't want to jinx things. Got one last year which I hardly ever wear because of how things turned out.

I love the designs for all of them and the wine/maroon color for the 10K. But I totally knew a few weeks ago that one would be black since it was the one color I specifically said I really wouldn't like. The design is still cute though so overall I like it, I just wish it was a lighter color. The half being grey is okay. Regardless, I can't wait to have them and will still wear them.

I love the designs! This is the first time I've ever considered buying Disney race gear. May have to change my schedule around and head over to the expo tomorrow.

At the airport now. Checked my bag and got through security in about 5 minutes. And now I'm just wandering around.

Also, for those interested, it appears that New Balance will not being using the virtual queue this weekend. According to the site, you can just go directly to the booth.

Good news for me (hoping to get a pair for my mom) as I would be on a flight during the queue sign-up time if there was one.

I am a little confused about transportation for spectators. I know there is transportation to Wide World of Sports and also to Epcot. Looks like transportation is cut-off starting 5:00 for a while. If spectators go to watch the start of the race, will they be able to get to Epcot for the finish?

Love the half I did it shirt. Really hope there's still some in our sizes when we get there Friday lunchish. Still curious what the pre order jacket looks like and which logo they used.
