Hello. DW and I finally got a Wii last week primarily so she could use Wii Fit. I've read or scanned all 216 pages in the last week.

Sarah, Justin, and all the other contributors. Great job on this thread.
DW and I are 50ish and extremely casual gamers. We go in spurts. We had a 360 for a bit but we didn't use the online that much and the more involved games like GOW and COD were just too much for us. DW liked the arcade the most and I liked NASCAR and Tiger Woods. The 360 is now in my nephews hands. We also each had a DSlite but mine is now my grandsons and DW's hasn't seen light in a few months.
Hopefully the Wii is different for us. We are both creatures of habit and the Wii seems more fit to us. One thing about late to the party with the Wii is we don't share all the battle scars of trying to get one over the last few years.
We pretty much have followed the advice in this thread and started with the console (WiiSports), Wii Fit, and Wii Play (2nd wiimote). Besides WiiFit, the bowling in WiiSports is getting the most play. It's addicting.
I ordered the component cables to be able to the set the display to 480P from Monoprice.com . I'd rather spend $4 on a cable than $25+.

I also got a couple of those assy sets with the wheel, golf club, etc. Cheap. not need but DW was interested.
I was really excited (still am) about Toy Story Mania but am disappointed it will not utilize wi-fi for multiplayer. We'll definately still get it though. Is this something they can add at a later time?
This topic seems to have gotten real quiet lately. Has conversation moved to other Wii topics on the DISboards? Where are the active topics? Lead and I will follow.
Sarah and Justin. Congratulations to you both!
