ok well i finally figured out how to unlock the bonus songs, you have to buy them from the store.....so i bough them all...lol..thers a lot of songs so at least this will be fun for a littel longer..lol...apparently there are also videos, but i havent wanted to spend money on those yet..lol

well we foudn that we could use the regular wii mote for some downloads, we have downloaded galaga and thats works with teh wii mote, before you download it tells you which remotes you can use,....i am still waiting to download the original super mario bros...lol..i MUST beat that one day..lol

As an interesting asside to your needing to beat the original Mario Bros....I beleve the world record for beating that game is in the 5 minute range.

Sorry I havn't been around more guys...been a little preoccupied with the death of my favorite actor.....I should be back more soon though.

My dh has been fully engrossed in the new Medal of Honor game with our new wii gun lol. I myself have been too busy playing World of Warcraft to fully enjoy Mario Galaxy.

That being said, and I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but has anyone else heard about the new Ghost Busters game coming out?! Please PLEASE somebody tell me this is gonna be for the Wii??? I'm starting to get a little frustrated again, as it seems a lot of adult or non-kiddy-ish gaming titles are only being released for PS2/3 and XBox360... Makes me flashback to that whole Gamecube experience were one out of 100 games were released to it...

Edited to add: and IF it is gonna be released for Wii, for crackers sake I hope it has more realistic movie-looking and not so cartoony graphics. I'm sorry, but I don't want cutesy-chibi-busters..

The real Ghostbusters return in this videogame sequel to the Ghostbusters movies. Stars Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Bill Murray reunite to reprise their roles as Spengler, Stantz, Zeddmore and Venkman. 2nd Your worry that all the Adult games will not be rleeased for the wii is a valed one. but it also brings up what is adult to you? If your talking Grand Theft Auto..you'll never see it on a Nintendo system...if you mean Graphics heavy(ala Gears of War) you're not goign to see it on the wii either(as they didn't go HD)
But if you mean Good solid games with mature story lines the wii has some and they are pretty dang good too!
No More Heros, Zelda, Manhunt2, Scarface,Resident evil Umbrella Cronicles, Re4Wii, Fire Emblem..they are there. Thats not to mention games like Day of Crisis, the multiple Final fantasy Games on the way, Red Steel 2, along with multiple otehr FPS's.

You do have to realise that many companies take years to make thier games....when Devil May Cry 4 or MedalGear Solid 4 were started Sony was leading the pack...hence them being on the PS3(soon to be)...and Developers are seeing the Wii take dominace expect more "big time" high profile games like those I mentioned to make their way to the wii. You also need to remember just as nintendo has it's own properties so do the other 2. You';ll never see Halo, or Gears on nintnedo since MS owns them.

It's just part of the way the industry is. My two suggestions are...1) let the game companies know! If you like Capacom Games write them and tell them you want more adult content for the wii. 2) let your pocketbook propell them...if your not buying games they won't make them! So by buying adult games for the wii(like Resident evil or No more hero's) your telling them we want more of this type of game and fewer minigames!

Yeah, I just purchased No more Heros , so hopefully it will be on it's way from Amazon soonly.

I just saw a trailer for the Ghostbusters game. PLEASE tell me that's what the graphics for the Wii are gonna be like? ..Pretty please? lol Like I said, if it's gonna be cutesy-chibi-busters then I's gonna go get the PC version of it. lol
It'll remind me of when they had two Ghostbuster cartoons on in the late 80's/early 90's when I was was a kid. The one that was 'harder' with scarier stuff and the one with the REALLY cutesy kiddy looking Ghostbusters (I even think they were kids lol)

I haven't read through this entire thread, so I don't know if this game has come up yet... but my 13 year old daughter just got Elebits and LOVES it. She has been playing non-stop for a week now. Her favorite game used to be Luigi's Mansion, but now her favorite is Elebits
The game play is great and the graphics are amazing. You can pick up and move almost anything in the game to find these little creatures. I have fun just watching her play! LOL! Anyway, I highly recommend Elebits for the Wii!

I don't think it has come up in the thread, but I have heard only good things about this game...Someday I'll get a chance to play it.

Oh and I have a review on HSM Sing It

I'm 13 and I am in love with High School Musical so much my parents have to come in my room and tell me to be queit cause I sing it to much. So I got this game when it came out over here in Scotland which I can't remember when lol and I love it, the only down sides to it is that it took me a while to find out how to get on the the 2nd part which is the girls part, and the fact that I only song that has the original voices is Everyday, now I thought that was werid but lol Since I bought it I have completed this game and bored my friends with it I would give it a 8 and a half because of the fact it dosn't tell you how to change it to the second part and the voices!

Oh and if anyone dosn't know how to get it to the second part then when the mic sencitivy thingy comes up on the screen above it there is the choice of character and the part click on it and you can move in to Part 1 Part 2 or Mix. Part one for guys or girls with a lower voice, Part 2 for girls (I dont really think I guy can sing this part but I could be wrong) and a mix if you can sing both parts lol obv!

Question for those of you playing Super Mario Galaxy, how long did it take you to complete the rolling green galaxy? I've skipped it for now after falling off the edge about a million times. Anybody have any tips on getting through here?
