I have in the past bought tickets from Undercovertourist with much success. I noticed recently others posting of purchasing from a different ticket broker but I can't recall the name of the company. Anyone have any idea or suggestions?

Parksavers.com is one that got much recent attention.

We just bought tix for our May trip and both UT and ParkSavers had the same price on the tickets we wanted so we went with UT because we've used them before. I do know someone who has recently used ParkSavers and had no issues whatsoever.

I was just noticing on undercovertourist that some of the ticket prices quoted were slightly higher than gate price?????

Ticket resellers ("brokers") cannot get discounts on 1-day and 2-day tickets from Disney, so in order to sell them, they must charge the same price (or greater) as a full Disney price.

WHY you'd pay more for them is beyond my limited powers of thought. ;)

The only reason I can think of is for the convenience of having the tickets in advance so they don't waste time in line, but that would apply more to guests already in Orlando, not necessarily those buying in advance. I have heard that some local resellers charge a premium for one or two day tickets and have always speculated that convenience was the reason why. If you are buying in advance and Disney has the cheapest price (and doesn't require a trip to will call for pick up) why not buy direct?

For the same reason why people buy the dining plan knowing they won't actually eat all the food they get, or that they don't want steak and would rather have pasta. Convenience?

Not sure if this is the case with what you saw, but keep in mind that the ticket resellers generally include taxes in their quoted prices, while Disney does not. You won't know the full price of a Disney ticket until you get to the checkout page where the taxes are added in. This can cause some confusion at times, because it's comparing two different things.

Well there is a reason. If you buy a 1 day ticket from UT, it codes as a travel agency to your credit card (Disney codes as entertainment). If you purchase that ticket using a Capital One Venture or Barclay's Arrival + credit card you can use your points or miles to "erase" the charge. That is the only reason I can think of.

I have asked this in other threads about parksavers but have never gotten an answer.

Does anyone know if parksavers purchases code as travel like UT does? I have always bought from UT in the past so I can purchase erase the tickets but if parksavers also codes as travel I might give them a try.

On my American Express it did not code as travel. I have heard others say it coded as travel on Visa/MC but I can not say for certain.

I have only purchased from UT, but this 7 day Hopper deal at Parksavers looks great. Has anyone used them? Any problems? FastPass+ issues?

Much positive discussion on these boards regarding Parksavers.com tickets.
They are a fully authorized Disney ticket reseller.
Buy with complete confidence.
