I don't think we'll ever get to see normal, everyday people on Survivor. How many people can take that much time off and still have a job when they return?

In my opinion Bruce Kanagai is a normal as they come. He had to leave his seasons show due to a life threatining medicial condition. When he finally came home he was fired from his job as a teacher.......
He had been teaching for 20 plus years, had won teacher of the year several times etc..... the school district didn't care - they fired him anyway.
Now he still continues to teach karate and that is how I have come to know him. He is my kids instructor and is fantastic. Very down to earth and really cares about all people and especially the kids....

Most of the young contestants though... how do they take off all that time...

Amanda: I LOVED it when PG told her to stop looking at everybody with her big doe eyes I have no idea why she and Denise and Courtney didn't take him out when they had the chance. So she loses one vote on the jury.

Courtney: can't stand her abrasive personality, but out of the 3, I would have voted for her just for her ability to fly under the radar and make it to the end

Denise: I also liked her and wanted her to win, until she made that "woe is me" speech to Amanda. Bottom line is, she screwed it up for herself. First by not switching alliances at the right time, second by making that stupid speech during tribal council.

I might have imagined it, but I thought they said something during the quick tease about next season that one of this season's survivors would be back. I'm assuming that would be James since he is so popular. I would also love to see Yeo Man back again.

That was so rude! Though it makes me sick to see a seemingly nice guy like Erik with Jaime. I hated her ever since she was so giddy throwing that challenge.

I wanted Amanda to win, but out of those 3, Todd deserved it. He was the one who outwitted everyone all the way to the end. The way he played JR was classic. DH and I said we will not watch the new one if the "favorite" from this season is Courtney. I just wanted to repeatedly slap her. Did you see her get caught flicking off the camera last night when they were talking to Denise about their fight?

Do you think that Todd's sister's miscarriage was real?
There was never a mention of it(that i recall) after that episode..

Something else that I had been wondering...Did Amanda have a hole in the back of her pants or was she wearing a thong? She was blurred out from that angle all the time?

WHile I really wanted Amanda to win, I'm not disappointed that Todd won. They were both schemers, but Todd was more up front about it. I thought Amanda would have received more than 1 vote from the jury (I haven't been on the CBS website to see which jury member voted for whom - does anybody know who voted for Amanda?). I was surprised Courtney got as many votes as she did - she really didn't "work" at trying to win. I guess she got some votes for slipping under the radar the whole 39 days.

Poor Denise! I felt bad that she lost her job. I'm surprised more of them don't lose their jobs - how many people can take 2 months off work in one clump? Nice that Mark Burnett gave her $50,000, but I'm sure some of the others feel cheated.

I wish they would have told us whether or not Todd's sister's miscarriage was true or if it was a Jonny Fairplay ploy.

Doesn't Courtney look good now that she put on some weight?

I was really surprised at PeighGee during the final tribal council - I expected her to really lash out at them.

And I'll bet the James will be on the All Stars show - did you see how the camera cut to him when they mentioned it?

Well, if that list is true, I won't be watching it. I think I liked only one of those players. Another I despise so much and won't watch another minute of his overextended 15 minutes of so-called fame.

I would love to see Terry on the Survivor All Stars. He was such a dominant force in the game.

Anyone notice no car giveaway this season?

If Denise is a $7.00 per hour employee as she says, that $50K would equal, what 2+ years salary? Plus her winnings for being in the final four (rumored to be $75k). She can definitely change her life. Plus, if she's no longer a lunch lady, she can get rid of that mullet! I loved her explanation of the 'do!

I was really pulling for Amanda all season, but boy did she blow it last night!
She needed to take Todd out and show the jury that she had her own strategy....

At the final tribal council Todd (and even Courtney) just blew away Amanda. She didn't have a chance, and Courtney did surprise me a little bit. Todd deserved to win even though I didn't really like him that much.

I did feel a little sorry for Denise, but I didn't care for her whoa is me speech....I wonder what she would have said at Tribal if she was in the top 3?

I don't think Denise was complaining aobut her family, I think she was saying all she had to go back to was a $7/hr job. I still really wanted her to win. I was APPALLED at Courtney's remarks about Denise not knowing how to have a life. Wow, low blow! THEN, she had the nerve to flip Jeff off when asked aobut it--Jeff should have really put her on the spot more.

I'm glad Todd won out of the 3. He was upfront aobut playing the game and he did it right. Amanda and Courtney just rode coattails.

The question that Jeff asked Erik was way inappropriate!! Too private!!

I like that Denise got some $$ at the end. I can't believe that the school called her a distraction! Wow...give the lady a break! She was a good role model and kids would stop asking after a while and things would get back to normal. Awful! Maybe now she can take time to get a new job.

I was also wondering why they didn't bring up the miscarriage. Since they didn't, it was probably true. I'm sure if it was made up, Jeff would have brought it up.

Todd wasn't my favorite, but out of the three, I think he was the best player. Looking forward to the next season.

Excellent! Some names aren't ringing a bell though. Several were favorites. Looks to be an AWESOME season. Was pretty meh over the cast member from this season who is returning.
