Actually the Fab 4 will be inside Darth Mall this year so at least there's A/C, also, in case you don't know, Darth Mall will be in the building between Backlot Tour and TSMM

Oh, OH REALLY!? Will they all be there at once?

Also anyone got an eye on R2MK? He another one I never got a picture with last year..

The Character Meals for me is an insurance policy, a second chance to get those characters, especially after all the lines I stood in last year just trying to get who I got!

Really really wanted to do this...the breakfast especially, but the prices are outrageous , especially for my family of 6. We have the money, but to spend $300 on a character dinner/breakfast when its just for the hubby and I, (kids could care less about Star Wars), I am not sure we can justify it. But oh do I want to!

I can totally understand that... right now my boyfriend and I split the bill, and it's just us, all the kids are grown and out of the house. Not sure I could have done it if I still had my three boys going with us!

So DH and I already have a dinner booked for one night on the weekend at H&V. Will this automatically change over to a character meal?

I'm thinking the same thing. The price. For our family of 6 breakfast is 229.00. I have never done syi-fyi meal before. Is it really dark in there?will it be easy to see the starwars crew? Do they sign autographs? I really want to do this but I want to make sure it's worth it before. I know when I say worth it ( it's in the eye of the person spending) but I just had these few questions. Oh and I know it's not about the food, it's about the experience.

I am super excited about these new character meals! I was able to get the Sci-Fi Galactic Breakfast on June 1st at 8:10! I can't wait to tell my kids about it! This will be our first time at SWW. What an awesome way to start!

Not sure if they will still rotate... and I totally get the point of chatter meals they are a time saver.

Just noticed on MDE that my reservation shows it now as worth 2 DP Credits. Guess that is Disney's way of notifying us!!!

That is really crappy... Disney should totally be notifying people other than just points going higher on your reservation.

FOR US: we already had reservations at H&V (not using a dining plan) for the same time we now have "Jedi Mickey SW Dining" and we were chatting about what if we didn't realize the price had gone up... (they automatically had already changed my reservation) IF you pay cash it doesn't say how much those meals are on the reservation, and it is a considerable price increase for the normal buffet there.

Please don't mistake me: we are thrilled to death to have these Character Meal (heck I wouldn't have stayed on the phone for an hour and a half (and was late for work) this morning to make sure I got them if I wasn't) BUT those whom already had reservations should have been told about this...

I feel so devious. I told my son they were doing the SW dining as a special event on May 4th. He said we would be there on May 3rd to get there in time. Then I told him he would be in school and that they were expensive, and he said oh well, nvm. HEHEHE little does he know we have both meals planned. The next 59 days can not go by fast enough!!!

It is dark inside sci fi and I'm not sure if the characters will go table to table or stay in one spot and families can get up and go take a picture, they will most likely sign autographs as they do in all character meals. It's completely up to you but think on the amount of time, in the heat, you will spend getting pictures with all these characters and that's how you'll tell if it's worth it for you and your family

I got so caught up in this new meal that I forgot I had the Rebel Rendezvous. I wonder if they will release a bit more information about what characters are going to be at this event so I know if it will be worth the money at this Dinner or Breakfast. If I can meet most of the Characters at this event I don't want to spend all this money and do it twice.

I imagine it'll be done like other character meals where people take a picture upon entry (maybe with Darth Vader) and then other characters wander around to sign autographs and have pictures taken? I hope that is what they do.

I really hope they do it that way too, that's how they did it at Chef Mickey's for Character Breakfast and we just loved it!!!

Super excited! We got F! Dinner at H&V for May 18th! I was shocked we got it, I was fully expecting no availability, we have a group on 10 so that makes ADRs more challenging. I read about the character meals today while at work and couldn't wait to get home to call, I was shocked when a human answered after only one ring! At first I wasn't sure if it was a recording so I said hello about 4 times to make sure it was a real person, it was weird there was no recording. When I told her I wanted to make a dining reservation she said she would transfer me so then got ready for the real wait but then a man answered after only a few rings, I was shocked. Then I was ecstatic we got the ressie and it was for the F! Package on top of it. I was in such disbelief that I asked several times if it was the Star Wars meal and he finally said very sternly that it is the Jedi Mickey character meal. Did I mention that I am really really excited!!!

I have never been happier that I checked the boards at work today. I would not have known otherwise.

Next decision to make, which Star Wars shirt to wear to the meal. Seeing as Greedo is listed as being present, thinking my 'Han Shot First' shirt. WOOO!
