Was just coming on to tell you guys about the article he posted. Very important things to keep in mind, especially the dining reservations. I have no idea what I'm doing for lunch yet and might just go counter service.

I made my resies for lunch at the 180 day mark. We are doing TS for lunch and CS for dinner. That worked well for us last year.

It lights up?? I want!

Yes!! Yes!! It lights up AND makes sounds.

How much is that cooler...it is so cool?

It's made by Thermos and is a hefty $29.95. I didn't look if Vader was the same or not. It's white and the blue is more of a navy than royal blue. The handle is royal blue.

I need to rig something up on it so it can hang. The hand holder is fairly small. More geared to a child than an adult.

I'm trying to get a game plan for opening day of SWW. My DS 5 won't be interested in celebrity autographs, mainly just character meet and greets. Will there be a schedule closer to the date for the times? For the Jedi Training Academy, should I send my husband and son to sign up as soon as we get there? We do plan on arriving early. When you mention crowded, what does the mean? Shoulder to shoulder I can't stand the place get me out of here? Or busier than normal? Also, what will the other attractions be like? Right now I plan on sending DH and son to sign up for JTA and myself and other DS to get TSM fast pass as soon as we get in. We also have an ADR for 11:15, what time will the parades be? This was a last minute trip and I'm trying to wrap my head around all of it.

The schedule should come out the week of the first www. Character meets don't have an official schedule other than 9 to 7. You should be at DHS around 7:30 for a 8am opening and go straight to JTA sign up. Crowds are not shoulder to shoulder but it is busier than normal. The SW parade was at 12:40 last year. That's the only parade that there will be since they cancelled countdown to fun.

When did they start building the stage last year? I noticed there was nothing up at all on Saturday. They were still transporting the stage for "high school musical" (sorry dont' remember the current name). And mulch, sweat and shears was performing in front of the sorc hat on Saturday.

I think it's done the week or weekend before the first Friday

SWW fans will not be looking to go to MK just for that, maybe some will go after all events on Friday. For Saturday the crowds at DHS might be a bit lower just because the casual Disney guest might find the possibility of staying all night at MK enticing, so they won't be going to DHS on Saturday, at least not early in the morning. But the SWW fan that has planned for that weekend will probably stick to the schedule.

Yes, we're still doing SWW. Hopefully that will mean smaller lines for celebrity FP/wristband lines. Or do you think it will add more people to the lines since people are already awake from the MK event?

They are planning to open Disneyland & DCA for 24 hours on 5/24 leading up to the "Monstrous Summer" & they said a small party for MK. Most are speculating that means a 24 hr hard ticket for MK 6am to 6am.

Yes, we're still doing SWW. Hopefully that will mean smaller lines for celebrity FP/wristband lines. Or do you think it will add more people to the lines since people are already awake from the MK event?

who knows? I think the point of a 24 hours MK party is to be there until the sun comes up. I didn't attend the leap year 24 hours thing they did because I value my sleep hours way to much and I heard and had friends that actually slept on benches and on the floor during that so I don't see what the point is, unless they offer something spectacular for that event I don't see the appeal.

Should it happen, my intent is to hit the Studios until I am tired of hearing Duel of the Fates, the Cantina Band Song, and whatever else they have on repeat, then head over to MK until they kick me out at a hour only a New Orleanian can appreciate (since we have no "closing time" on our bars, usually, they usher people out at 6 just so they can do a quick clean up before starting a new day). Then, maybe freshen up at the hotel, pack up (since we are heading out on the 25th), then back to the Studios for more SWW goodness until I HAVE to leave.
