All depends on the person. The best thing to do is visit the bathroom when nothing is going on.

Oh, I absolutely would. You just never know though... I've never had to leave a line normally but I also can't remember the last time I had to wait over an hour for a line - even in a Disney park!

People are really nice and will hold your spot. There are plenty of solo travelers and I've never seen someone not hold a place for another person.

No worries about being a solo traveler, just start talking with the people around you, a great way to pass the time and hear interesting stories. I've held spots for people and it was no problem.

Anyone have any tips/tricks for going to SWW solo...? I am a patient girl and don't mind waiting alone (will have my iPhone & kindle plus loads of things to look at so not worried there) but am starting to wonder how I am going to handle hours long lines if I need to... answer nature's call. I don't think I realized how very hot it will be in May, so I am sure I will be drinking a lot of water. Do you find that people in line with you are willing to let a solo girl pop out to the restroom or is that instantly game over for me..?

We had a solo girl join up with DS and I one AM for a few hours at SWW since we were interested in visiting all the same characters. In fact, she held the line for us when DS had to use the restroom while waiting in the never-ending Jedi Mickey/Leia Minnie/Darth Goofy & Stormtrooper Donald line.

SWW is a great time to chat up your neighbors. You are all stuck in the same line together and most of us are great big fans. I've met some fun folks through the years there!

I agree we have also met some wonderful people throughout the years at SWW. There is one family from Miami that we have bumped into at the parks throughout the year and several times at SW Celebration.

I didn't think we would make SWW this year, but it looks like we will! I can't remember what day of the week we went last year (we went to two different weekends), so I'm not sure.... what would be better crowdwise? Friday or Saturday? (Thinking Friday???)

Saturday is typically the most crowded of the three days.

Thats what I figured... I think I am going to try to do as much as humanly possible Friday, take a break and go elsewhere Saturday and then go back Sunday to try and pick off anything i miss... my husband is bummed he cant make it, so I am sure we'll be back at some point anyway!

I might have missed this, but are reservations open for the Carbon Freeze Me experience yet? Definitely want to do this when we are there the final weekend!

I haven't heard anything about Carbon Freeze Me or any other merchandise opportunities yet for this year. If I recall correctly, last year, it was sometime into April before those announcements came out.

We are really getting geared up for SWW. On Saturday, we saw Ashley Eckstein at the Orlando Science Center. She held a Q&A. There are some new shirts coming out too. I hope they come out in time for SWW or that they are sold at SWW! One is a Padme shirt the other a Clone Wars shirt.

My DD12 has been babysitting and saving money for Her Universe merchandise, the new Padme shirt looks amazing. I'm sure she'll have it for SWW.
As for the Carbon Freeze Me thing there's still no word on it. It's a wait and see at this point.

We are doing our 1st Disney trip in June. We are planning HS on June 7th. My son (6) is a die hard SW fan. What time should we get there for rope drop and where do you sign up for Jedi Training Academy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated since we have planned our 1st trip around SWW for my son. In the same vein, what time would be recommended to show up if we don't intend on trying for a signature? (as cool as it is, its just not worth being there at 5am for to us. ) I do want to see the little show they do at the entrance though - I think a couple storm troopers do a skit, right?
