JAT's awesome....Ashley is too. I've met her a few times elsewhere and she's called my daughter on the phone and recorded videos for my soccer team.

Got a question though...this year will be the first time we are planning on autographs.

Did you not get wristbands for all of you? Or did you split lines, with the expectation that you could hand over the band? There are four of us, and there are two definite targets we want to hit (Ashley and Warwick Davis), but it's always sounded like you chances are pretty small at doing more than one given that you have to get up at 4am from the sounds of it.

What is the line for Ashley like? I wonder with her being there every weekend if they might be shorter...
The rules are one wristband per person to meet only one celebrity. It. all depends how tight they put the wristband on. But the rule is only one celebrity pet day..... Ashley is very easy to meet, she also meets at the merchandise tent with people that buy something from her line

In the past, we were always told we could give the wrist bands to our son. We split lines. Him on one and me in another. Friday I the CM was more than happy to give him my Ray Part band and ticket.

Today we arrived at 7:00 am and got both Ashley and JAT no problem.

Right, I understood the rules - I was trying to understand the situation.

Good to know...I'm sure the wife and kids would have no problem buying more of her stuff...they've got a bunch as it is :)

Thanks for the update.

Standing in line for Rankor. Japanese ladies behind me. All I here is Japanese chatting then Darth Vader. Haha

forgive me but who is JAT?

James Arnold Taylor, host of Star Wars Weekends. He is a voice actor who portrays (portrayed? I understand it's been cancelled) Obi-Wan Kenobi, among other characters, in the animated series The Clone Wars.

Correct...Clone Wars was abruptly canceled when Disney decided to focus all of LucasArts on new projects, mainly the films.

What is interesting is that they already have some stuff destined for a sixth season pretty much done. There is talk of making it available, but how and when remains to be seen.

What are the crowds looking like at SWW. I am mostly wondering about rides and getting into the normal shows, restaurants, etc... Is it impossible to get around? Long Lines?

We didn't think it was too bad (Sat.) Seemed like a standard day. From what I was reading, I expected a lot worse. For ride times, just look at some online live sites & see next weekend. Walking around didn't seem squished. I am pretty sure a group in front of us got in & sat @ Prime Time just as our reservation time came around 5:30.

So, we have decided to start our trip a day early in the hopes of catching Warrick Davis on Sunday of weekend 3. Any idea what his gastpass line will be like and how many autograph sets he will do? Are we looking at getting there by 4am or before?

I a quick rant. No need to reply but want to clear my head so I can enjoy the rest of my evening. My son who is autistic loves Star Wars. We get up at 4:00 to get in line for our autograph FP's. I always give him my wrist band so he can get autographs.

Today was the first time in three years that the CM would not let us. No problem rules are the rules. My son said Dad, you get the autograph and I will take your picture. Then the cast member went on and on about my request the guest in front of us. For the next several minutes. You would have swore I committed a capital crime.

Well my son felt awful about what the CM was saying and began pacing and flapping his arms. There was no way he was taking a picture.

When it was my turn for JAT, he remembered me from last year and saw my son pacing. He had one of the security CM's escort my son to see him and we both had our picture taken with him. He is just so awesome! Calmed my son down with a few voices.

Thank you JAT! You are the best.

There, now I feel better.
Thanks for listening.

Crap. I hate hearing that. I usually relinquish my arm band to my son also. I heard that they are having entertainment cms not regular cms. I hope they learn the ropes and chill out. I'd have been ticked. JAT is awesome, and he does remember folks and he is a good man. I'm glad that worked out for you.

New to SWW, but not new to WDW. Question on Hyperspace Hoopla....do you have the whole group wait or just one who tries to hold the space for others? I don't mind holding down the fort, but wasn't sure if it was allowed or just not possible with the crowds.

BUMP! Anyone? :confused3 I really want to see HH but the rest of my group is just not sure and if I make them wait for 2-3 hours I will not be on the "good list". Suggestions....we are not there until the last weekend.
