We were second in line for Chewie and because of the "issues" CMs gave us a fast pass to a character of our choice. DS chose Darth Vader!

Fastpass for a character? How does that work? Wonder if this is only for special cases like yours or if it will be more common.

Does anyone know how bad Ashley's FP lines were? I have friends going down who are hoping to meet her, but they aren't exactly early risers. But, they also don't want to do the HU meet because they have dining reservations around that time.

Did you say 1,700 people waiting to get into the tent? When I left at 9, they line was all the way to the split to TOT. That's what 1,700 people looks like?

No, character lines for me. I had three huge bags of stuff so I left to go to the hotel as soon as I was done. I've done all of them with my kids in the last few years and they are not with me this year so I don't plan to hit many.

Loving the live updates. I'm also following Josh (easywdw) on Twitter. He mentioned how people had been standing in that Chewie line forever until he came out and posted a pic of the line. Can't wait to hear more!

Hotter than the surface of the sun, and crowd control at parade was pretty nonexistent. People were coming out of nowhere to try and stand up front where we had been for an hour and a half! Motorcade was awesome tho, going into premiere theater for Ashley's show now!

We got to Vader around 7:50, would have been sooner, but we stopped to get the autograph book. And we haven't done anything except characters (except right now, we're getting lunch haha) it's been a really good day so far and I'm impressed with how well we've done.
