My lake view GV at BLT last week…

We had such a great trip!
The highlights included ⬆️ and the Christmas parade. My FIL loved it and seeing him so happy made the entire trip. His health has declined rapidly and we all knew this would be the last family hurrah. We made the most out of it for sure.
(Also, the pot roast sandwich from Cosmic Rays was a HUGE hit!)
That sandwich sounds delicious!

We saw someone with the gingerbread popcorn buckets on the monorail today. They’ve been restocked at MK. We didn’t stop by yesterday but might drop in to get them tomorrow (Epcot day).

Cheeseburger spring rolls had a long line (sold out before noon) but most people in line waited the extra 10+ mins and cheered when the cart pulled up with them.

Not a good day. Kids waited 1.5 hr in line at GOTG. Frozen has been down. Nemo has a 50 min wait and our LL was about to expire so moved it and only available was 2 pm. Guest services was able to move it to 1 pm. We need to break for lunch.

I’m sorry 😕 Are you only there a half day?

Sometimes when things start going in this direction we’ve switched gears and grab a snack and watch Mariachi Cobre or Encanto Show for a change of pace and to reset.

Yes, gingerbread house popcorn buckets restocked at the popcorn cart between the split by the Tomorrowland/fantasyland bridges. Got them first thing this AM, they also had the Mickey nutcracker sipper.

We just exited the park. Our 2 older kids just did GOTG and little one went through Moana and ate ice cream. That was it.

We will go back in another hour (have Space220 ADR). I moved our LlMPs to the evening. It was so bad we didn’t even ride our one and only DAS for Remy. It got converted as well. Captain cooks was almost 2 hours. It’s just not our day.

Hoping your afternoon and evening went better 🤞🤞

Nope. GOTG went down again and it took us slightly over an hour to ride our rider switch. It cut into our extended evening hours.

We refunded the multipass (went to Remy and it went down just as we approached). I had 3 recovery passes by then but we couldn’t ride Remy for the second time. Frozen we were able to ride with a DAS close to park closing but it took 30 mins because everyone crowded the only big ride open. Younger kids just went back (DD5 with disabilities only rode Frozen the entire day).

After about 10:20 pm things got better. We rode our 6 pm VQ right away and then Soarin. But was it. VQ and 2 rides in an entire day with 2 extra hours!

We later saw Nemo down during extended hours. Remy stayed down. Frozen was held for extra time due to vomiting.

Ugh sorry. Yikes. I’ve been to Epcot 3x in the past year, and every single time Nemo has been down for significant periods of time. Not that it was a top priority for us, but as a filler ride for when it’s busy elsewhere it’s frustrating. I think some of these rides have difficulty keeping up when it’s super busy.

And re: Frozen. Ugh. Gross. Feel bad whoever got sick and even worse for those riding with them. That’s like my nightmare. I’d then spend the rest of the trip worried we would come down sick.

We were also at Epcot yesterday and hit a lot of the same snags! Tried to rope drop Remy, but it was down at early entry time, so we had to switch gears. Frozen went down right in time for our Lightning Lane, and Remy was down again by that time. Ended up doing neither of them because my kiddos are just done by early afternoon. Still had a fun day, but there were a few tears and our Multi Pass definitely felt like a waste.

Came back from the Cake Bake shop and stuck on the monorail. It’s down due to power issues. There is torrential downpour.

I'm sorry, seems like your trip isn't going so well!
No, we usually have a few hiccups on every trip. This trip we had a few extras but still manage to find magic. Nothing we can’t handle and still have fun. We have seats and AC and are out of the rain. Had great conversations on the Skyliner and now on the monorail. Topolinos was wonderful (steak and sour cream waffles) and we have cake and water with us.

Just a few grumpy CMs but noticed a huge change in overall CM friendliness and many many CMs going above and beyond (even GET). That makes the trip go much smoother.

Oh great!

Our trip was a bit of a let down, but that was due to traveling with other people who are a bit .... impatient.

And we didn't love the cold weather. But that's okay, booked a great bounce back deal!

It was good until they made us get off. Line for the boat was an hour long. No direct buses to Disney springs. Took key west and have been stuck there for past hour. Ran to the boat and bus stop back to the back to the boat. ADR is at 6 pm and it’s 6:04. Don’t have free hands with DD sensory issues. So it did get worst. Not sure how long security will take. I told DH to order as we are using dining plan
