Not sure if the below is accurate so I am revising my post.

Crossposting my observation from the Candlelight Processional thread:

These dining packages now require prepayment at booking AND you forfeit the full package price if you cancel within a 48 hour window of your reservation. I guess this will cut down on ADR hoarding and help availability last longer? Not my favorite change though. It makes me reconsider booking a package at all - maybe standing at the back just outside the theatre is fine with me if it saves me upwards of $75 and I can stay flexible.

Do you know if 12/30 MK has capacity issues? I know 12/31 does and you need to be in the park mid morning and not leave.

Most vlogs I’ve seen are post COVID where the park pass reservation system was in place.

On 12/25 we will purchase LLSP and VQ and then hop to AK after a mid day break (extended evening 7-9 pm).

They should bring back 2 VQ for MK if not add another.
I can't say about last year. We were in the AK on the 30th. I tend to do either AK or DHS on the actual holidays or the day before. I did do MK on January 1st one year and it was not that bad.

I would setup a dining alert. A few days leading up to Christmas breakfast is open until 1 pm. Also keep an eye on the Dec cancelled ADR thread

We have the dining plan and we will pay out of pocket for Topolinos because of the menu. Our son has dairy/egg allergies and they offer him muffins, vegan eggs, vegan pancakes. We are going at least twice on our trip. Service has always been great as well.

They really need to have better food quality at QS restaurants at deluxe resorts. We used to love the fish sandwich at Gasparilla grill (taken off the menu). Ohana has the worst cuts of beef and captain cooks is just ok. Kona had really bad food with long waits 2 years ago. We will avoid at all costs.

There was a great shrimp curry that was offered (special) at ABC commissary which we never saw again.
Thanks. I’ve watched that thread as well. When you say a “dining alert” where do you mean.

Yeah we are in our home resort for the first time Riviera and we want to do topoloinos for breakfast. I agree they need to add a few items for the QS. Poly was awesome but could have a couple better options.

Fortunately we don’t have diet restrictions just picky kids 😂🤣

That’s great. We are going to the same party!!! My daughter has already requested to stand in line for jack and sally 🤣😂

I just want a picture with me, my husband and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. I don't even know if they are at Christmas party! 😂
I know they are at Halloween.

I just noticed several candlelight processional packages available for booking today! Our Epcot day is December 5th and there were numerous restaurants available. I didn’t think you could book them until next week but they were there!

I booked one for Chefs de France at 2:30 for the 5pm show! My oldest has wanted to try that place for awhile now! It’s under “E” for Epcot and you’ll see the dining packages.

Oh! And we didn’t have to prepay for the Candlelight dining package. Just the credit card guarantee as usual.

I do believe it’s an earlier cancellation date (like 24 or 48 hours ahead of time etc)

Omg thank you! Just booked Biergarten! I’m sure it’s a glitch but I hope they honor the reservation.

Edited to add: I’m not seeing packages available to book anymore in the app at least as of 2:18 pm central time on 10/23

I'm sure more will release on Tuesday! Someone else said they couldn't see it past December 6th. Weird glitch I guess.

I wouldn't have seen it at all if I wasn't stalking the site, trying to move up my Garden Grill reservation. :D

I really really hope I can get it for Dec 6. We're aiming for Le Cellier!

I like stakeout for hard to get ADRs. There is another one we can’t mention here but the free version is an email
