***Official Planning Thread -DECEMBER 2024 - Welcome all!***

Wow, you’re going all out! Full park day and the party? Sounds exhausting and expensive.

That said, we’re buying for Dec 5 too! See ya there. ;)

Oh no, not a full park day! But if we go in around 4, because we already have hoppers for length of trip we can purchase the multi-pass and book some rides 7 days out. Thinking we may do that and book Tiana and maybe Jingle Cruise to knock out before the party so we can do other things. Still just in planning stages though!

Oh I see! That’s pretty slick if it works out!

Hello!

Does anyone plan on buying party tickets on Tuesday? I think we will grab MVMCP for Thursday Dec 5 and then Jollywood Nights for Saturday Dec 7. There's no need to buy early, but we already have the money ready to go, so why not! 😂

We arrive before everyone else, so I think our first day will just be checking into AKL early morning, leave luggage, go to AK and just relax. We don't plan to buy a multi-pass for that day. Just shop, look at the animals, eat, shop, look at decorations. Go back to hotel and hopefully room ready. Hoping it may even be warm enough to go to pool. Then evening the two of us plan to visit Disney Springs to see all the Christmas trees! And probably eat dinner.

I'm also debating buying the multi-pass on party days. But I honestly think we might just to get the bigger rides like Tiana or Slinky done before the party. Not sure on that.
I am planning on getting the party tickets on Tuesday. Also planning on doing the multi-pass on the party days to knock a few things out prior to the party. 😊

We've changed resorts in order to get the promo offer!! Now staying at Port Orleans Riverside instead of Music -- Woods View 5th Sleeper instead of a family suite as they weren't included in the promo.

We love Riverside so that's a plus! Hubby's first stay there!

Decided not to do the Christmas party as we will have an 8 month old with us who doesn't stay up past 8pm. lol

Looking forward to the Candlelight Processional so waiting (impatiently!) for the narrator list so we can decide between a Thursday park day vs a Sunday park day.

I wonder how long it’ll be before they announce the narrators? I’m hoping to catch Neil Patrick Harris.

I'm hoping it's out by the end of September! Last year, they didn't have a full list until early October & our ADR day is October 4th!

I would love to see NPH! My oldest is hoping for Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel) or Brendan Fraser.

Ooooh, if John Stamos is there my husband will have to hold me back! 😂 😂 😂

Hey everyone, we are arriving November 30 and leaving on Dec 10! This year we plan on doing mickeys Christmas party and also plan to do 5 additional park days. From my experience if I purchase a 5 day park ticket we will need to use them within 7 days. Is there any method to purchase tickets with a longer window? We’d like to do the Christmas party mid week but then we’d essentially have 6 park days within that 7 day window and our resort days would need to be at the start and end of the vacation. Guessing we may need to do the party on the second night or last night we are there, so we can space things out. Any strategies welcome 😀
Thanks

Hi! Would you like to be added to list? Have a resort to add?

Sorry I can't help with ticket question!

If you’re buying a package (resort & tickets) through the Disney website, your tickets are usable for the duration of your stay (just go in like you’re about to buy the package and it will show you the highlighted dates which should be the whole time you’re there. Perks of buying the package). If you’re buying resort and then tickets separately, I’d recommend starting with the 1st day of your tickets as your first park day rather than your first resort day. For example, I am doing 5 park days and a Christmas party. I am coming in on Wednesday, but first park day is Thursday. So I’m clicking Thursday as my 1st day when I buy TICKETS (for ticket only purchase). Now I can do a party in the middle and still use my last day ticket on Wednesday (Cuz I leave Thursday). I hope this helps and makes sense. It might not work for longer stays tho, I believe you’re staying 2 days longer than I am. Just click around on the dates on the website before buying and it will tell you last day use. Good luck!

Hmmm. It says will email me when processed for my Jollywood Nights tickets, but I got my MVMCP confirmed. But I can see both were charged on my credit card. Which I shouldn't have looked at because 4 tickets = yikes!!! 😂

Thank you! The 6 day park ticket gives us validity from the day after we arrive (Sunday)!to the day before we leave (Monday)
