Hi There, I was hoping you all could help me out. Here in the states at both Disney Parks we have the photopass system, which you collect all your photos on, the ones that the park photographers take for you. Then when you get home you can view them all online and add borders with the park logos, etc. You can also view them in the parks and buy them there. I am understanding that Disneyland Paris does not offer this system but does have official photographers at certain areas and you can buy the photos later and they add borders, hotel names, etc. Is this true?? Also where do you usually find these photographers, what areas? Also if some of you have these photos, could you please post them, I love looking at them and the different logos. Thank You So Much.:)

The only place you can find official photographers is the steady character meet and greets, and not even all of them have one - Jack Sparrow, Jamming Jungle, Alice and Aladdin (while the latter two were on)have none for example.

The ones I remember with photographers are the hotel meet and greets (and then the photographer may be gone if he has to transfer pictures in the system), Duffy, Mickey and the princesses.

I have no idea why thy don't set a photo spot in front of the castle or something... they'd make a fortune. We took photos for at least a dozen families while we were waiting for the character train on our last trip.

You can buy the photos, but only print out. The only option I ever saw offered was that they would remove the hotel/promotion logos, that's all. But then again we didn't ask. I think I saw someone with Mickey's signature on a picture from the Cottonwood Creek Meet and Greet while we were there week before last.

:scared1: seriously there are no photo dude around to take your photo? i love that part of it in WDW -- as it's such a fab idea and gets photos of your whole family / couple together. they WOULD make a fortune setting someone up in front of the Castle for photos and tons of other places. I cannot believe DLP hasn't got this:( Such a shame :confused3

Thank you for letting me know. Hopefully some people have some of these photos to share, would love to see some. It sounds like there are a few around Paris but not as many as here in the states. I welcome any other advice. Thank You.:)

I'm dead serious.

Always takes me a while to adjusted to it as well. Came back late November from DLR last year and went to the pin event in Paris three weeks later. I was always like "where's the Photopass guy? D'Oh, I'm in Paris, there are no Photopass guys!" :(

I do have some of the hotel Meet and Greets, one series from Princess Pavillion and one shot from the Mickey Meet and Greet if that will do?

I've never understood why DLP doesn't have an official photographer (or two when really busy) hovering on Main Street. They're missing such an opportunity IMO. :confused3

I agree that it's a real shame there isn't photo pass at DLRP. Hopefully they'll add it at some point. :) and hopefully as PP+ so it includes ride and meal photos. :)

Sure that would be great!!!!!!!!!! Would love to see any photos.:)

a tip we got in the hotel shop was to keep all of your photo pass cards until the end of your trip then go to the photo shop on main street and get them all done at once, the more you get done the cheaper the price is. saved us a small fortune- we eneded up buying about 12 photos!

Awesome photos, thank you for sharing. Would love to see more of the offcial photos.:)

Depends how long your trip is. They couldn't find a Mickey photo from our first day anymore last week. I was told they delete the photos on the fourth day.

Of course that could be a game of "this CM says A, the other swears it's B" again, but personally I will no longer wait more than 3 days.

We only bought three but we easily had 150 photos taken! The one of mickey and DD we are actually stood there as a family but the photographer captured us all together and alone DH was with Duffy bear.
When we were with Taina again we had family photos we had to sit on her dress :-/ they took so many photos every time we saw them it was great as they never missed anything!

Apologies for DD hair in all the photos she was a right madam with her hair lol!

That's something I noticed too - they don't strictly do things by the book anymore and just do snap, snap, ready.

The photographer in DLH did capture pretty much the whole "kissing war" with Chip and Dale, including a photo where you just see some of my shirt sticking out between brown fur because they are hitting each other as they didn't like the other kissing me. Unfortunately I was still standing between them. :rolleyes1

And the one at Princess Pavillion realized that Ariel knelt down to sign my drawing and snapped a picture of her signing. They never did that before, I was lucky if the CM I handed my camera too was on the ball.

Thanks. I really like the new logo too. The Chip and Dale picture was the end of the above mentioned kissing war. LOL

Actually I think the photos is where the biggest part of my souvenir money went this time.

I tend to spend a lot of money on the photo's that the Disney photographer takes too; as it is generally me taking the photo's so if we buy the ones that the photographer takes both DH and I are in the photo's and like you the Disney photographer often takes shots of things that happen with the characters that have us in hysterics when we get home!:rotfl:

The one thing that I did notice last year was that I queued up to have my photo taken at the temporary Princess Pavillion and DH noticed that the photographer only took one photo of me with Belle; yet several of the kids queueing up - it was like he was saying I was too old to have my photo taken with the Princess!:confused3

So far I was lucky and always get three or four photos. But yeah, the CMs there definitely give off that "you're too old" vibe.

Last fall on a solo trip the CM actually asked me if I was still waiting for my family - yes, of course the squee-y adult with an arm full of princess drawings is waiting for her husband and kid to arrive ;) - and this time the CM asked me in a really awful tone: "Is it just you?" Always annoys me too.
