Woo hoo. Well - I didn't get exactly what I wanted ( WL) but I'm still overjoyed!!!!! CSR for 418.50 for three nights....Oct 25-28!!! The CM was so nice too- she even asked if it was a special occasion and when I told her our anniversary was actually Oct 5 but this trip is to celebrate she said "Awww- I'm going to send you something." Don't know what that could mean but I'm just thrilled to be on my way to CSR. I've always wanted to stay there!! Good luck everyone!!!

What if we check in on 10/20?
Our trip is from 10/20 to 10/27

Can we get the gift card? When I applied my AP discount this morning the CM didn't say anything about the gift card.

Ok. I called back. For us to get the $50 dining card I had to make two separate reservations. One reservations for the night of 10/20 and then a separate reservation for the nights of 10/21-10/27. At first we were not eligible for the free dining card since we were checking in a day earlier than the promotion. But after splitting our stay into two reservations with one check in on 10/21 we were able to get the free $50 card. They noted in the computer that we had a continuing reservation so we shouldn't have to move or check out for the one night.

OK so please fill in a newbie on what to do:

We are going Oct 7th to 14th. Booked room at CBR and tickets and DDP through CAA (AAA).

Now, can I get my CAA agent to call and get me these additional code deals? Or am I outta luck???

Quick question for those who got mods..

some of you quoted getting a price of $108/per night. Does that include tax?

I got CSR in November for $105/night, not including tax. With tax it's about $118.

I was told that there is no availability at any values Oct 5-9

I called this morning and again this evening just to double check.

I have to tell everyone that this round of AP discounts has really confused the heck out of me. It has also seemed to confuse some of the CMs at CRO as well.

I found out that there are other codes involved other than the published FEX and FDV codes. The CM I just spoke with gave me FFB and FFC. She said FFB is an AP code for value resorts for the free dining card and FFB was for moderate and deluxe AP codes with the dining card. These codes were totally new to me. What was even more strange was that these codes opened up different AP discounts at other resorts.

For example FEX had only Beach Club available, but when she plugged in FFC Coronado Springs became available with the dining card. I couldn't believe it because I didn't see any trace of the codes published on the DIS. Maybe I missed it though.

I would also add that I'm completely disappointed with the available AP rates. Resorts are very limited in what they are making available to AP holders. I hope this is a one time instance and doesn't become a trend for future AP rates.

Please fill me in. We are staying 10/20-10/27 at POR. What is the free gift card about? I guess my TA will have to call and make the change. Hopefully, she will be able to do it--or be willing to!!

You are staying the exact same time at the exact same resort as me!!
Ok, there is a special promotion for annual passholders durning october and november.

It is for check-in days 10/21 - 10/27 and 10/28 - 11/3 and be at least a 2 night stay.

In November it is for check-ins 11/11 - 11/17.

Values receive a $20 gift card and moderates a $50 gift card, deluxe get $75, and DVC get $100

Since we are checking in on 10/20 we couldn't take advantage of this promotion. That is why I had to split my stay into two reservations. After doing that we are now able to get the $50 gift card.

Oh and we saved $46.12 per day off rack rate with the AP discount!

Congrats on your savings. I am not sure how much our room ended up being since we are doing the room, tickets w/ph for 6 days and dining.

Just curious, you wouldn't happen to be from South LA, would you?? (I am from Metairie but live in TN now)

What's up??? My AAA rate for Pop over Xmas was $455. My AP rate...over $800!!

As I just said, the CM gave me FL resident code FEY

Pop century was the SAME price as AAA rate $84 plus tax ---ODD

She quoted me for CBR at $129 plus tax and CSR at $149/tax (king..no standard room left)

So far I am at POP still on my AAA discount.

I am going to call again in a bit. Just doesn't seem right?

Ours did not have any mention of it either. We also didn't receive an email confirmation for our third room. It's bothering my DH so he says he's going to call and ask sometime today.
