Hello, Everyone!

I thought I had posted my info. already on this thread, but I guess not! Our family of 4 will be staying at AKL from October 22-29. We are so excited!!

We are staying CL this time, so I emailed all my ADR and ressie requests to the AKL IPO last week. I'm a little nervous about relinquishing control to someone else, but it sure beats getting up at 3:00 am to do online ADRs (we are in Washington state). My 180 day mark is on Monday, so I'm excited/scared to see what happens.

Welcome to the group !!!! I would have a hard time letting IPO make my ADRs but in your case I might not feel so bad if it kept me from having to get up at 3am.

I too would let someone else take care of my ADRs if it meant not waking up so early. :) We are also traveling the same time as your family but staying at OKW.

We are at that same time too, but at CBR. Monday also. I will need to be up at 5AM. But thats the time I get up for work so I ok with that. We really have to make the final list tho this weekend!

Hi guys, I am so excited to be joining in on this party!!! My DH and I will be going to WDW for the first time ALONE!!!! Woo hoo!! We haven't broken the news to our DD's yet.. :scared1:
We will be arriving Wed Oct 26th to stay one night and attend F&W before we take our very first cruise on the Dream :cloud9: and then back on Sun Oct 30th to attend MNSSHP and then leave the 31st to head home just in time to meet up with DD's for Trick or Treating at my Dcousin's house!!
As for ADR's we are torn between just gorging ourselves silly at F&W and then chilling on the beach at the Poly to watch Wishes..or making an ADR for O'hana and then chilling on the beach after. :confused3 We probably won't make any for the 30th either since we want to get into MK at 4 with our party ticket and don't want to waste our only park day on food....will maybe consider The Plaza only because it doesn't take forever there and we had a very pleasant meal there in March. Or maybe we will go to DTD and eat at T-rex for lunch...that was one of our faves from March as well....surprisingly the food was good and we had a good server there as well..and if you do an early lunch it's not crazy there yet. It also depends on where we book that night's hotel stay...we have a room only for the 26th..can't say where it's a surprise for DH, but the pin code ran out before we knew for sure we would be staying that extra night on the 30th and I am waiting for another. If we don't get another pin I will book a room at POP.
I sent a request on Facebook to join that group, I am a member of the March group there too...sad that trip is over :sad1:, but soooo looking forward to this one!! :yay:

We are booked since January. We are staying at the WL Oct 22 to Oct 23 and are very, very excited. I have been planning ever since! I think its the best part of the vacation. We have not been to Disney since 2005. With my DD starting high school I think it will be a few more years till we can go again. So I'm making this trip the best!

I get to book my ADRs tomorrow! I'm pretty excited, but i've been reading that people are having problems doing the 180 + 10, so now i'm also getting really nervous!! The last 2 days my daughter has slept until 8, but this morning she told me over breakfast "tomorrow is a BIG day, the easter bunny comes." So, something tells me that 8am thing isn't happening tomorrow. :rotfl:

What is the +10? I thought we can' make reservations till 180 days? We are going Oct 23 and my ADR's can be done on the 26th. That is 180 days.

If you are staying on property you can make your ADR starting on your 180 day and any ADR you want for the following 10 days.

May I join? :)

We just got back from our first trip (just DH & I for our anniversary) and are ready to return again! :woohoo: We will be heading back to the World on Oct 11-18 with our 4 kids (their first time). Right now I have a saved offer for AsMu, but not sure if we'll end up there or not. I'm exploring the option of staying offsite (anyone have suggestions on that?) and paying OOP for our meals instead. Of course I'm hoping for a pin or FD to come up and that'll decide it for us for sure. All I know is I just bought plane tickets from Oct 11-18, so we'll be at WDW that week, no matter what. lol :goodvibes

Still need to call for the Wonderland Tea Party and BBB but at least all the ADRS are done!!

I just booked our first trip just DH & I. We are going October 22-31 and staying at ASSp! No dining plan but I'm hoping to book HDDR for my birthday on the 30th! This will also be our first MNSSHP! El cheapo trip so we could come at all but just can't wait to be back! :cool1:

Only suggestion I could make would be look at a vacation home rental instead of a hotel. That would give you more space, bathrooms, and flexibility (no working around housekeeping if the kids want a nap, you can make breakfast there before heading out, etc). Many even have their own private pools which your kids may enjoy.

We were looking at possibly WorldQuest or Bonnet Creek, but DH decided he really wanted the kids to stay onsite for their first experience. We are still toying with renting points and staying at AKL, but it's still at least 1k more than AsMu, and I'm not sure if it's worth it considering we'll be in the parks most of the time and my kids couldn't care less about accommodations. I'd love to go Deluxe again, but not sure if now is the time. :confused3

Yum! You got a bunch of good ones. :goodvibes DH and I celebrated our 10th there last month and ate at Narcoossee's. I thought it was just ok, but DH loved it. We had an 8:50p ADR and they sat us right next to the windows. We got to see the water pageant and Wishes from our seats. That was totally romantic. Be sure to note your anniversary on your ADR. We got personalized menus and a free dessert.

I just finished all of our ADRs this morning too. Well at least for now. I'm going a very different direction this trip since it's for the kids. We have dinners are 1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana, T-Rex, Mama Melrose and Liberty Tree Tavern. Lunch at Le Celliers, and breakfasts at Tusker and Crystal Palace. We only have 1 repeat from our trip- 'Ohana. I'm excited to try new restaurants, even if I do hate buffets. :rotfl:

1900 Park Fare is a lot of fun.

Have you looked at Wyndham Bonnet Creek? It is right next to Carribean Beach Resort. Usually you can find a 2 bedroom for $750 or so. The resort has some units that you are even able to see the fireworks from. Minutes to the parks and downtown disney. There is a "We love Bonnet Creek thread" here with more info and lots of pics. :)

I'm all booked for Oct 14-23 for our honeymoon. POP Century is our current resort. But i've been working a ton of hours, so we just might find a way to get upgraded...or maybe we'll find an upgrade in my email one day, who knows. We'll just be happy to be back in disney. And hopefully I can find a good enough job to where I can move down.
