Sigh. Why oh why are my dates part of the Free Dining blackout dates?? It never fails. I am spending a few days at WDW post-cruise, by myself, to finish celebrating my 40th Birthday and free food would have been icing on the cake!!

Anyone else attending MNSSHP on November 1st? My sister is making me a costume and I am soooooooo excited!!

Last week of October at BCV. First time for Food & Wine Festival

I haven't booked yet because I'm waiting for a room rate discount for my dates. I hope the free dining discount blackouts aren't a sign that there will be blackouts for my dates ! If I can get a good rate I'll be at POFQ, if I can't budget, I'll be at POP (AGAIN)... and if no room discounts I'll stay offsite.

This trip is full of many firsts! It will be me and my DH first time visiting in October which means it is our first time going to MNSSHP and the food and wine fest. We also got the free DP for the trip and this is the first time we are using it. Since my DH bday is on the 29th we booked the MHSSHP for that night (I am packing his costume in hopes that he'll wear it ) So excited for this upcoming vaca!

I'm sure he'll wear the badge because every year we usually go in Feb to celebrate valentine's day and our anniversary and he LOOOOVES to wear the "Happy Anniversary" badge. When I called to book the trip I made sure to tell them that we are celebrating a birthday

We are going to the food and wine festival and will be there from Oct 9-14 at Bay Lake Tower in a 1 bedroom, then moving to Beach Club Villas 1 bedroom from Oct 14-18. We are also doing MNSSHP on oct 12 while we are there. Cant wait, its getting closer!

OK, so there's been another change of plans.

Turns out my PIN was available with values and a CM steered my TA in the wrong direction.

Long story short, we're back at POP for Oct. 14-19th!

DH and I are going October 9th - 14th and staying at Port Orleans Riverside. This will be our 3rd trip together. We are very excited that we were able to talk my in-laws into coming for their first trip! Can't wait for October!

My husband and I had to change our Disney plans for October. We are now heading to Disney October 5th to the 9th. We are still staying at Port Orleans Riverside. We will be heading to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and EPCOT's Food & Wine Festival. I'm so excited about heading down to Disney again. We haven't visited since 2007. I just completed the reservation this morning and paid it in full. Our airline tickets have been purchased and I'm packed. Okay, maybe, I'm not packed, but I'm ready to go.

For those who have attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party before, would you recommend it? We don't have any kids so I am just wondering if it is worth it for the two of us.

MNSSHP is great!! you can get in as early as 4 pm with your tickets and then everyone else has to leave by 7 pm. the only ones there are who paid to be there, you can virtually walk on every ride, great parade and fireworks,and you get to trick or treat as well! i saw go for it, we cant wait to go again!
