Hi everyone! Finally bought the plane tickets to join my parents for a few days in October, and have therefore committed! I had been worried about taking a few days off from my field placement, but I figured I'll just make them up. (shrug)
So I'll be going down the week of the 18th and staying with my parents at their timeshare. Just checked out the crowd calendar for those dates...are those for real?? They seem VERY low.

The crowds are not that bad except at the world showcase for Food and Wine

So excited for our trip!!! we are taking my parents and my brother (12) for their first REAL disney trip. Staying in a 2 bedroom villa at SSR. Going to MNSSHP, Food and Wine, and the boys might be doing Harry Potter. For you october veterans, are crowds mostly low? We are used to spring break chaos

My partner and I will be staying Oct.3-7 in a 1BR villa at Bay Lake Tower w/ MK View. I'm hoping this stay will be much better than my May stay at CR.

with Food and Wine going on, would we be better off to switch Epcot to Monday?

Also, I am SO on the fence about MNSSH, this is our first trip and I am sure it will be amazing enough, but I am wondering if I should add this.
DS is 10.
What do you think?

I would try to avoid Epcot on the weekend...a lot of locals go to food and wine then...

We attended MNSSHP on our honeymoon last year and loved it! It really is fun - the atmosphere in the MK is completely different and the fireworks are hands down the best I've seen at Disney. I think your family would love it.

Excited we only have 24 days until our anniversary trip at CSR!!

Thanks to Football season I had to change my families trip to Oct 23- 31. Originally we would be in Disney right now But I have a wonderful son I love who can't miss FOOTBALL!! UGH! But being the sweet caring mother that I am I understood without throwing a fit and changed our trip. SO we are now

Oct 23-31 at Port Orleans Riverside (and now we are taking our crazy friends who will be newly weds and their five year old daughter...)

We leave exactly 30 days from today for our trip. I am SOOOOOOO ready for a vacation! Got our documents for the first 5 days when we'll be at POR and the docs for our 2 days at AKL should be arriving soon.
