My anxiety about our flight amidst the government shutdown is ramping up. We have a late departure from Orlando and I'm trying to decide if we should move it earlier, but I am reluctant to because we were going to use that last day to enjoy Festival of the Holidays.

My anxiety about our flight amidst the government shutdown is ramping up. We have a late departure from Orlando and I'm trying to decide if we should move it earlier, but I am reluctant to because we were going to use that last day to enjoy Festival of the Holidays.

We are also flying back on 11/28 (trying to fit in the Festival of the holidays for a few hours). Our 6 pm flight got pushed to 7 pm. Hopefully no more changes. We booked flights on different airlines (American and spirit). Both have had some changes already.

Anyone else going Thanksgiving week and surprised at the LLMP prices? I was expecting the $45 MK cost they did end of October and so far they’re $32 and $35.

Does this mean lower crowds than expected or just that LLMP will be harder to get rides because they’re keeping prices lower? Either way, my budget is thankful.

We also chose to purchase LLMPs earlier in the trip for MK and Epcot, but will have to shell out the higher price for HS on Thanksgiving. We are going to MVMCP on 11/26 so no LLs needed there and 11/25 we have Beak and barrel (standby at MK) and maybe ROTR focus on shows). On 11/28 we plan to just do booths, Holiday entertainment and maybe the Santa meet & greet. Our flight got pushed to 9 pm (orig 6 pm) so we have extra time that day.

We are going with another family and it’s their first time (I’m the planner). We also booked Space220 and CRT so we are only getting our older kids LLMPs and we will ride with our youngest on a few rides she likes depending on wait times (she loves little mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, people mover, carrousel). We will have LLSP for all of us except thrill rides.

The app doesn’t have the prices through 11/28 but took prices from wdwmagic and it’s going to cost $900 for the few days for the other family of 4 (one person not riding GOTG):

It’s still not cheap but I hope it means lower crowds.

We most likely won’t be able to get Tron as it’s 7+1. Tax 6.5%
