**Official NOVEMBER 2021 Check in thread

40 days to go. Doing all QS on a solo trip but did get an Ogas for after park close as I love an empty galaxy's edge.

Hi all! Planning a sibling trip with my brother. I'm a first time AP and new FL resident, and he's coming down from Chicago where we grew up. We made the silly decision to go over F&W marathon weekend and so far I have us booked for 11/1-4 at ASMo and off property at the Doubletree in DS 11/4-6. Hoping I'll be able to get on-property in a more affordable room than a villa but we will see. If anyone sees Value/Mod rooms available please report here! Got us ASMo the whole trip, November 1-6! We won't have a car so hooray that we got on property!

So far we have mid-afternoon reservations at Oga's (his first time) and BOG (my first time). Since we're past the 60 day ADR mark, I found Oga's just by searching occasionally and BOG via TP Reservation Request. Hoping to find a Space 220 reservation, but I totally forgot to get on this AM when they opened so I fingers crossed TP helps me out.

ETA: updated reservation :)

Sadly I have to postpone our trip due to a family emergency. Fingers crossed January 2022 works out for my sibling trip, and jealous of everyone going in November! It was when we'd always vacation in WDW growing up.

I'm sorry to hear this. We are kind of in the same boat. My parents are not in the best of health, they both had covid last month and now my dad broke his hand at the same time my mom had knee surgery. They are 75 and 81 and live 6 hours away from us. The last 18 months seems like one thing after another for them...

Just booked a super quick trip, my first solo, just to be there. It's been a very long 3 years since I have been and I have been struggling with health issues that no one can figure out. Multiple doctors appointments and I'm exhausted. DH says I need this, but I'm feeling guilty! 26 days to go and I'm excited but nervous

Sounds like there's no need to feel guilty. ENJOY and forget about real life for a bit! :)

Will start the majority of the packing this weekend! Anyone else?

Has anybody added Genie+ onto their package yet? I am leaning towards doing it day by day on our visit (definitely will for our MK and HS days, less inclined for AK end EC), but am curious about other’s approaches. Thanks!

We called to get it added. The tickets did not show up right said something about clone tickets so called back later that day and the CM said give it 24-48 hours and sure enough this morning they now show as 8 day park hopper with Genie+. Not sure if it was because it was the day it rolled out or if others who add it now beforehand experience this.

Even before the pandemic we pretty much always have gotten travel insurance for trips. Where are you staying? We will be at CBR from 11/19-11/28 with a few days at Universal beforehand.

we are also at CBR! It's just a quick trip to get our Disney fix until our spring trip since we haven't been lately due to the pandemic

I was thinking of doing the same thing. We will be there the week of Thanksgiving. I'm having a hard time adding it for the entire trip because it feels like a waste for Epcot.

Agreed and I would add in AK as well. We will certainly use G+ for MK and probably one day at HS, but not sure we need it the entire trip.

Although park hopping may make having G+ more enticing since we could rope drop one park and stack lightning lanes for that afternoon in park #2.

Heck, I’ll probably just cave and add it to each day we are there! 8-)

Going back for the first time since "The Pause!" Nov 13-19 staying at Caribbean Beach. First time with the fam in... 16 years, though I've been back personally 3 times since then. And it's everyone's first time at Food & Wine Fest. I'll finally get to complete my EPCOT Festivals Trifecta. FoA remains my fave so far. Also never been to Walt Disney World during Christmastime! I went to Disneyland at Christmas in 2018 - in this same time frame too. The week before Thanksgiving week. It was magical, and I know this will be too!!
