Called Dining and the CM said it doesn't look like LTT has released their reservations past the 5th or so, so here's to hoping they do soon and I can finally book my last ADR.

OK, so I talked to DS who had a great time when we went for the "Boys Weekend" in December of 2016, and he wanted to go again for another weekend this year, 2017. Veteran's Day Weekend fits into our plans without him losing any school time. I checked with my Magical Vacation Planner, and she came up with a great deal for the weekend. Pretty hard to pass up, so I booked the weekend for him and I. Now for the tough part. Trying to get this passed through the DW!!!! She wasn't too found of us being that far away from home. She doesn't want to go. Needs some time off from the Magic. Plus we're planning a big friends trip for the kids graduation in 2019. The good thing is that I can still cancel the trip and get a full refund. It's not going to be easy to get this one passed!

Hey guys, super frustrating get any reservations for the week for the 12th through 18th. We have never stayed in the park and have never had the issues we're having now for a party of 6. In fact, we used to get whatever we wanted even starting the booking process around 7 in the morning east coast. The past two mornings I've been up before 6 am with a computer ready to go and refreshing diligently and by the time the clock turns there is not a single time available unless I want a 3 PM lunch or a 10 PM dinner. Honestly, we scheduled the trip for this week because we kept being told it was empty and shouldn't have any issues. It sure seems that you have to stay in the resorts now if you want to get anything...Here's hoping TouringPlans can save us.

Southwest just started a fare sale for October and the first few days of November. Our ticket went down about $13. Hoping it goes down further, every little bit helps.

I only had issue with one ADR and that's because they haven't released their times yet. But then again, I prefer to eat at odd times (I work night shift and 10pm is my lunch so it wouldn't bother me, for instance).

That being said, the app and website has had a LOT of issues the past 2 days, plus there's the free dining offer, so those may have some influence on your experiences as well.

I just bought my flight down for the 1st. Yesterday the flight was $152 and today it was $91. With my credit it ended up costing me just under $24! Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Now to hope I find an equally great deal for my flight home!

It's never been this bad for me either. I mean- Whispering Canyon Cafe only has 8:15 pm 180 days out. And that's before free dining starts. Crazy!

I imagine people staying offsite probably aren't gonna have a lot of luck with the ADRs unless they get lucky at the 30 day mark.

I'm pissed at myself because I already told the kids (4 and 6) that we were going to have breakfast with Mickey and friends. Here's hoping they forget...

You've got a LONG time between now and then, and there's every possibility in the world that a time will open up. Also, someone else recommended to me, and it worked!, that I try looking with different party sizes. I wanted to reserve Garden Grill at a particular time, couldn't get it with a party of 2, but WAS able to get it with a party of 4. You can then either go into the reservation and change the party size, or just let the hostess/host know it changed when you check in.

I agree, don't give up! I have personally used the TP reservation finder for BOG on multiple occasions with success. So I would recommend it for trying to find the CM reservation you're looking for. I also will check daily until I find what I'm looking for. Plus, if you're flexible on times they do serve breakfast, brunch and dinner so opening that up will give you more options. There is also normally a cancelled reservation thread for each month here on the DIS so I would subscribe to that thread as well. And of course you'll see a lot of cancellations around the 60 day mark, as people rearrange around FP+, and around the 30 day mark when people might cancel. Just be diligent in checking and utilizing your resources! Sending you pixie dust for Chef Mickeys!

We got some of our choices but none of the special ones. Of course we've tried for BOG and of course that is gone (no real surprise there) but we couldn't get the CB at Garden Grill or Akerhus which is a big surprise based on our past experiences and that was kind of a linchpin for the whole trip in scheduling. I can only guess that the secret of the character breakfasts is no longer quite a secret

I tried changing the size of a party a couple years ago and got shut down (from 3 to 5). Have they relaxed on that policy because I would definitely give that a shot of looking for 4 then bumping up to 6 if we land it on Touring Plans

I haven't tried going from a smaller to a larger party, just from a larger to a smaller.

I really feel that they can't have opened up all the reservations. It's crazy that everything would be booked already.

Who here is planning on attending MVMCP? Do you know your dates yet? Trying to decide between Sunday 11/26 and Tuesday 11/28. I want to do Tuesday, but concerned if anything gets rained out, there won't be another date we can go during the trip (we got rained out our first year so now I always worry!).
