You can count me in on this group as well. We were just there in August and I was desperately trying to find a way to get back and the only time we were able to work it was Thanksgiving week. We're going to do a short trip and actually be home just before Thanksgiving Day, but we should still be able to get a lot done. Right now we're booked at AoA LM but that could change if a friend joins us and/or FD is offered. We'll be there from 11/21-11/26, catching MVMCP on our arrival day. 212 days to go. Can't wait!

So happy to see you here in the November group! We will be there a few weeks before you, and like you guys are also skipping August this year.

What date do the MVMCPs start happening? Also, when do Xmas decorations go up? And the lights at DHS? Thinking about a WDW trip this nov but not sure yet. I've only been to WDW once and never to an MVMCP. I'm very new to all this stuff, so if anyone knows the answers to any of these ques, that would really help me out.

The first MVMCP this year is November 7th. I'm still debating the 7th or the 10th. The 7th would work better but I think the crowds will be lower on the 10th. The decorations start going up early and continue through Thanksgiving.

Hello, everyone! We are unofficially jumping into the November bandwagon! We are expecting to go in November to catch both MVMCP and F&W, but we're also contemplating August and September. Waiting for late summer and early fall deals to arrive before we decide. So, I'll hang out here for awhile, since I love reading about everyone's plans!

Oh and brag moment, my other son in college, is being inducted (that's such a weird word) into the Alpha chi honor society Sunday. He is considered a first semester Junior because of AP classes he took in High school.

Congratulations to your son! AP courses are great for that reason alone. He should really capitalize on that momentum and graduate early. I was in a similar position due to AP credits, and a wonderful counselor advised me to grab the degree and go. Saved me a year of college and $20,000! Best wishes on your son landing a summer job!

Thanks for asking about Graduation. It was beautiful. The town did a private celebration and my son wrote a speech. It was the most precious moments ever. If I can figure out how to send you a private message with a link to a clip a friend did for me, I'll PM you.

So tonight DH talks Disney trip and then I find out I can preorder discount tickets of the Lion King in Boston with my Disney Visa. DH said he preferred me to go with a girlfriend, so I happened to be talking with my girlfriend that she and her husband came to WDW with us in November 2013 and she said she would go with me. We have Sunday matinee tickets so we can go into the city in the morning and have brunch before the show. Her birthday is actually that Wednesday so it's a double celebration. I get to take something off my bucket list and we celebrate her birthday. Win Win!


Ok so if my son didn't just argue with me (yell) because I asked him to take his shower so I could go to bed, it would have ended a perfect day.

Oh well I'm happy.

Please send Pixie dust his way. He has never been able to land a summer job and he has an interview tomorrow. I'm pretty sure he will get it, but you never know. It's not many hours but a start.

Oh you asked about our Anniversary. It's November 5th.
I joked with DH that we'll wear our 25th buttons and cross out the 25 and put a 26 and see if we get extra pixie dust because we went two years in a row.


As soon as I know for sure I'll get you know we are going.
We have a few things to juggle (mostly my son's respite care) and it's too early to attempt that. We did that last time way ahead and it because a real mess just a month before we left. So I"m good with waiting to see the specials that pop up over the summer.

Hi All! You can add us to the list! As you can see from my siggie, we are also jumping over from Team August. We are doing a short trip Nov. 13 - 16 to take in all the Holiday decorations! As of now, we are booked in a family suite at ASMu but may change to a Nemo room at AoA. Can't wait to plan with all of you!

I think we were at AoA the same time last year. We had a Cars room last year and it was pretty awesome. Best feature for us? Two bathrooms. We had five people and I was the only guy, so the extra bathroom was huge for us.

Hi to all of my Team August peeps! I know a few of us are still keeping in touch via the Team August Facebook page but it's also cool to see familiar faces on here planning for November.

I honestly wouldn't have a problem with August but this year DD2 starts kindergarten and due to re-zoning it may be at a new school, which means we don't know the teachers and staff so we'll have to be there for meet the teacher night and all of that. We don't want to take the kids out of school so since we're off the whole week of Thanksgiving it is a great time for us to go.

Does anyone have a REALLY good spreadsheet that you use to help plan and wouldn't mine sharing?
I usually use a pretty simple one in Google Drive. I don't like to plan down to the hour, but I like to have a pretty good idea of what the day will hold (especially with DS2). I am a VERY visual person and like to have everything laid out in front of me.
