We are going to be at Pop November 11-21st! So excited! It will be our second trip. Last time we went for my oldest daughters 5th bday in December 2010 and our younger daughter was just one. Now we are going for her 5th bday!

Just chiming in to say, I am spoiled now -- I won't go any other time. We keep kicking around the idea of going for SWW one of these years but I just can't change my November/December mindset

We will be there from nov 15-22 and I'm super excited about this trip!! It's gonna be a surprise for my son who will be turning 5 on Nov 18, which as we all know is also Mickeys birthday!! I'm going to order a cake and have it delivered for dinner at chef mickeys. I can't wait!

Booked AoA Nov 1-9 - DD will be 8, DS 5. Can't wait! We did a 3 day trip when the kids were 4.5 and 21 months, and then just a 1 day stayover 18 months ago. We can't wait! Finally time on a trip to do some relaxing, not just go, go, go the whole time.

EasyWDW preliminar crowd calendar is out for anyone interested. I had to change my dates around a little and I want to take advantage of EMH on some non recommended days but I'm pretty happy with my final draft.

Now we wait till May 13th to book all my ADRs.

Debating switching our room from a Deluxe Studio at Old Key West to a Deluxe Studio-Value at Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas. I know the the OKW studio is slightly bigger then the one at AKL. The switch would save us valuable DVC points for a second trip in 2015. My only holdup is the "Value" room at AKL. Does anyone have any experience in this type of room?

I don't have personal experience, but my understanding is the value studios are even smaller than the usual DVC studio. OKW studios are the biggest you can get on property. The AKL owners thread is VERY helpful; you can check there.

We have stayed in a value studio at AKV and loved it! We even got lucky with a savannah view. They are about 3 feet shorter than other studios at AKV, but had more than enough room for our family of 4 (kids were 3 and 6).
OKW will give you 2 queen beds in the studio, while AKV is a bed and a pullout couch.
Also, value rooms are typically gone fast as owners book them right away. Do you know if one is available for your dates?

Unfortunately, there is not any availability at the moment. We are going for the last week of F&W and for the runDisney W&D weekend. SUPER busy for the weekend, not many rooms available. I went ahead and waitlisted it just in case anyone cancels. Fingers crossed!

I am at BLT the first week of Nov, but waitlisted the week before Thanksgiving instead (tomorrow is the 7 month mark so maybe an owner will switch). Wish I would have thought this through before booking. Oh well! Either time we go will be GREAT!

We were 'just' in WDW in September 2013, and we are booked and officially headed back in November! Our current plan is to stay at Pop and enjoy Thanksgiving week in the Florida sunshine!
