For DHS, every day in November says Parade: Dark. What does that mean? Will there not be a parade? Is it just not scheduled yet?

It means there is no parade in HS.

Did they get rid of the parade at DHS permanently? Why wouldn't there be a parade at DHS in November? They had one when we were there in Nov. 2012.

Yes, parade is permanently gone as of April 6, 2013.

This will be our first time being at WDW over Thanksgiving, well actually any major holiday and I am surprised that the hours that week are so short. I would guess they will change?

I am having a hard time deciding if we should purchase the dining plan since our TIW will not be valid that week. I guess we could still use AP and DVC discount at some restaurants. Does anyone have any advice on this?

There is no party on 11/17. The parties that week are 11/16, 11/20 and 11/21. If anything, they might change the hours for 11/17.

Our DD's were so very YOUNG the last time we saw Disney for Christmas.

I am soooo hoping the decorations will be up for Thanksgiving

Our oldest DD will be moving there in August for the College program.....which is really a great excuse to head over there for a visit!!!

Yes, everything will be up, music will be playing, it's amazing. We won't go any other time of year!!! You'll enjoy it!

That early Monday closing really throws me...and I hate that MSEP was moved to Tuesday. Hoping for no party and a lengthening of hours!

Crowds are too big that week, they couldn't close MK early that many days with the holiday crowd.

On our last 3 wdw vacations, we've gone the week after Thanksgiving. This time, we decided to shake it up a bit and go the week before Thanksgiving.

For us, that's borderline reckless.

We will be staying at POFQ from 11/15 through 11/23. If you would be so kind as to add us to the list, that would be peachy.

That's Great with me!!! I was hoping the parks would NOT close early for that!!
