***********Official "November 2014" thread- Come Join Us!!!! ************

That moment when you leave disney and don't know when you're next trip will be :(

I am all packed and ready to go. I still have to work tomorrow and then I am going straight from work to the airport. We fly out on Monday morning.

:thumbsup2 How exciting! We have 10 more days before we leave! :cool1: DD mentioned to me that we should start watching/re-watching more Disney movies to get us into the mood! :rotfl: Finally saw 'Up' yesterday, what a sweet movie! Semi packed, plane tickets/hotels confirmed, received Photopass Plus, US money exchanged and learning how to use DH SLR camera. :lmao: Also, have to bite the bullet and get our Premium Annual Passes - just trying to hold off paying all that $$$ for it! :)

On ABC Family Channel they were playing Disney movies today! We watched Bug's Life, Wall-ee, & then I recorded Up & Sleeping Beauty! Yes, "Up" is very sweet, a bit sad but very good story overall! I'm also semi-packed, all our itineraries are put in the folder, didn't receive PP, but I have the printout and they told me that's all I would need (don't know what happened to my order!) don't have to exchange $$. As far as a new camera, I am learning how to use my iPhone 6, haven't used all the features yet! How exciting to be able to get annual passes! Bucket list item! :cool1: :rolleyes1

Exciting! We are heading down to Huntington for a few days before our Disney visit, so when we head over, it won't be the same as usual, but kind of nice! :beach: Enjoy your trip!!

By the way, if any DISers were at Disneyland Friday evening (11/7) and saw a young Elsa with a glowing blue cape, that was us. My DD9 had gone to A&E Boutique that day for her hair, and was wearing this Elsa costume, plus we attached blue electroluminescent wire (EL wire) to the cape. I can't even count how many compliments and exclamations we got, both direct and overheard, from adults and children. She's like a Pied Piper for little girls when she wears that thing. :wave2:

I would post a photo but my wife has it and we are apart for the next week, so it may have to wait for a bit.

Can't wait to see the photo! :)

I haven't watch Wall-ee yet. But DD has so we'll see if I can get to it before we leave!

We get annual passes because DD (12) and I decided that we are going to visit DL every year because it is our happy place pixiedust: We still go on yearly family vacation with DH and DD (18) but Disney is our special place. :) Like my DD says, it's a place where she can carry Lotso around and not be judged! :rotfl:

Checking in

I'll be there Nov 24-29 with my family.

Feeling a little overwhelmed with trying to plan a schedule. Thinking of doing the Touring Plans itinerary thing.

Good idea or no?

I just made a dinner reservation at Storytellers for Dec 2, and the buffet says it will be a Thanksgiving buffet. I went to Storytellers for dinner the first week of Dec in 2012 and it was a normal buffet.

Anyone been there last year this time? Was it still a Thanksgiving buffet the first week of Dec?

If no one knows, do you know who I can call to find out?

One more night!
Or more precisely, about 9 hours to go before I leave the house and about 11 hours to go before flying! :D

9 days! Single digits! And we're stuck in a polar vortex here in Denver, it was -1 this morning when I brought DD to school, and we've had about an inch of snow. It'll be warmer by next week, but still!

9 days for us too. Cannot wait!! It will be our first time spending Thanksgiving in magic Kingdom.
