I woke this morning and Wow I'm excited that I'm at 61 days.


I guess my church festival had me distracted last week so the numbers didn't mean anything, but now the focus is on November and I'm ready.

We have cooler weather now, so the whole craziness of dealing with heat and humidity is hopefully behind me and I can get things done around here.

And now some of my clothes can be packed in wait of my vacation.
So happy to have DIS so that I can live through those of you leaving before me.
Keep posting updates everyone. I love reading them.

Yes. People are reporting it's really wonderful. No staking out spots hours early.

Interesting. Honestly I've never had strong desire to watch the fireworks and parades because I won't waste precious time sitting in one spot for a good seat and seems even when I have, people are rude and manage to get in front of me or other distractions. (Like the time I thought I had a good spot only to find out it was open because the wind was blowing the smoke from smokers area, which was nicely concealed with landscaping into my face. I had to move.)

Ok so I wasn't a big fan of the Magic bands but this feature could change my mind. That is if I get a FP for it.

I don't mind you posting them. I enjoy seeing your creations and excitement but maybe if there is a way to post the picture of all 5 in one picture might be easier on the fear of clogging. I don't know I'm not a moderator. Not tech smart enough to know how to do that.

Wait, so we can book fireworks viewing and BOG lunch through our FP+? I have looked on my FP+ options and the only thing that comes up is rides. What am I doing wrong?

Yeah I have all five in one pic. As many as I have done that's how many I include in the pictures. So anyways here is the next installment of shirts. Not sure how many more we are doing yet. I know for sure there are two more for sure to do, but after that we're not sure.

DH has opted in a fun way to wear similar colors but not designs.
I'm ok with that.

Would love to have a chance to meet up with some of you and trade these items -- in-person trading is more fun than using the postal service (and cheaper!)

They don't seem to post shows and such until much closer to your date. You have to keep checking back. I also read somewhere that these were only available on weekends though I dont know if that's true or not.

DS started pin trading last trip. And we have boatloads of SOTMK cards.

We're not doing Infinity. We're sticking just with Skylanders.

I booked the Dessert Party for Wishes this trip and thinking we might skip IllumiNations this time and returning instead to our resort to enjoy the resort instead.

I stayed at AKL before but before Kidani was built and Bob has never been to AKL so I know we will want extra resort time this trip.

We have a whole bunch of Vinylmations we are bringing to trade.

As for Infinity, the main trading item is the power discs that you can buy to give you extra powers/toys/themes when you play the game. The discs come in blind packs, thus we have doubles and still have a couple that we still need.

Hi all!!!! I'm new to this thread, this will be my 2nd trip to WDW and DH's first! We are from CA and thus DL is our home away from home! AP's at that mouse house. We were married last December with DFW's at GCH and this is our anniversary/honeymoon trip! We get off the Dream on the 10th and head over to CSR until the17th. Being as the speed at DL and WDW are different, ie, ressies are a must at WDW apparently and thus requires you to really have a Good feel about which park to go to for each day in advance, it makes me feel like I need a pill to chill me out!!!!!

The more I read the more anxious I feel! I'm crossing fingers for MB, I'm still confused about FP+ deal, the MDE says I need to link tickets but I was told by a cast member that I wouldn't have my tickets until I check in so how will this work?????? HELP! Haha!

I know what you mean, I'm from California with DLR being my home park as well. Having to make dining reservations more than a month out? What? You'll get the hang of it.

You're going to the Dream; happy anniversary! We got married at DLR as well (though not through DFW), one of these days I'll have to convince DH to do an anniversary trip ...

I think everybody has mixed feelings about FP+ at this point. I was super excited about them at first but since they're still working the kinks out of the system it seems like more work than anything else at this point.

We don't usually watch any of the parades (other than the Electrical Light Parade) or fireworks from inside the park for the same reason. I'm hoping that the FP+ will change my mind about their value so I'll actually get to watch the fireworks and/or shows from inside the park without feeling like I'm wasting a significant chunk of a park day waiting.

Sitting here reading November vacation posts and just paid off my balances for my vacation and I look up and I have 8 wild turkeys walking around my yard. How cool is that? They did some grazing and resting in the sun and then went over to check out my DH's garden and now have moved on after almost an hour. I couldn't walk away. Soooo cool.

I think they were wishing me a nice vacation! LOL
Rather see a bunch of wild turkeys than a black bear like my Aunt did.

Ok I really need to get moving.

I'm at 61 days. Gotta get through a big consignment sale and making Halloween costumes in the next 45 days, then it will be ALL THE DISNEY. lol So excited to finally be just two months out, though!
