I'll make sure I add you to the first post. I know I have a few to update and I promise I'll get to them....I had a slight set back and am typing impaired right now. I was installing my new kitchen sink today and cut my finger on the drain section.....man, that was razor-sharp! So, I ended up with stitches and only part of the project done. Hoping to complete it once the pain ebbs a little.

Aw, thank you both! It's a family trait to hurt oneself while working. I've just never needed stitches or major medical attention for it before. lol My brother messaged me that we should all have the EMTs on standby or at least call the firehouse when we're doing something. And the only reason I went and got the stitches is because I used to be an EMT and I knew the location and depth weren't a good combo. No biggie.... I'll be fine tomorrow. It's the tentanus shot that's killing me.....I can barely move my arm above my shoulder.

Okay just changed the calendar for the morning! That really made the trip feel closer!! We have a WdW calendar we got last year on our trip so our new picture is the castle! We are at 73 days, is everyone excited to see if we get magic bands? I think people have been able to order around 60 days out...do you want FP+? Or hope you have the old version?

OK...first post is all updated!

My sink project would have been done last night, but I need new adapters for the water lines and tailpipes for the drains. So....heading to Lowes in 2 hours. Gosh, I can't wait until this thing is done!!! More trouble than it's worth. (But....it will look so nice when it's done).

Hubby bought new shorts for our trip. He laughingly said "should I put these in the Disney pile?" Of course, I said yes. I still have to get clear, plastic zip packs for our KTTW (I like to make sure they're all in one place). I'd like to get them off eBay, but can't find ones I'd like (I'm picky). So, maybe since I've been up since 4am, I'll poke around Google and see what I can find.

oh! totally , but I have to share: I don't know how many of you are in to shoes (I like cute, different ones), but I bought two pair in different colors from Macy's this weekend (thank goodness for clearance and Labor Day sales). Baltic Blue and Mint Green. I'll post if you'd like me to.

Don't remember when I posted on here last, but I'm sure I'm way behind. Update: i reserved our hotel for the night before we leave on the auto train and I also booked Wishes dessert party (seems I already posted that). I have changed the date twice and my final decision is the 12th. The slooowww CM I talked to said that it is filling up fast and that I'm lucky there was an opening We're not taking a stroller this time for our 6 year old and the thought of having an assigned seat to watch wishes AND eat dessert.....well, I just couldn't pass it up

The photo book is right up her alley, I am kind of hoping she will break out of her shell at Disney and let loose a bit! She would never do a face paint and says she won't go on many rides. I wish she would celebrate her cancer but I think even having a dessert delivered or having a Cm wish her well would embarrass her. We never got ot that stage of I beat this now I am am going to conquer the world! Lol.

My MIL doesn't do rides either. Fortunately Disney has "attractions" not rides. ;-) Does she like shows? parades? What are her likes outside of Disney? Does she have any interests you can tie in?

Does she have a favorite Disney movie from her childhood? I found out my MIL's favorite is Pete's Dragon. Now I can't wait for her to see the Electric Light parade.

Did you say it was her first time? You could get a first-timer button. That would give some nice celebration attention without mentioning the cancer.

I would kill for FP+. But we're staying offsite this time. :-(

We still have the old APs but it looks like we'll have to get those converted to RFIDs on our first day. Will have to get to MK even earlier to make that work.

Yes, changing the calendar does make it feel a lot closer now. I am pretty sure our party will get the MBs. Rumor has it that anyone checking into POR starting 9/3 will get them. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We have FD at POR from 11/23-11/30 (at least 2 of our 3 rooms do). My sister who is checking in on the 26th could not get it. Unfortunately due to her job (teacher) that is the earliest she could get there.

Hey guys!! I have not posted in forever and I have a lot of catching up to do. I hope you all are soon well and planning away!! We had a few expensive set backs and our trip was on the line but I think things have settled now and it's full speed ahead.

I also have my very first grand baby due TODAY!! We are just waiting on a phone call. So it looks like time will fly by with everything that's going on. I will spend the next few weeks trying to lose weight and trying not to go insane! Should be fun!

Love shoes! I just found out Birkenstock makes Disney sandals! Ordered myself 2 pair & my son & daughter each a pair off Zulily!!

I had a dream last night that I forgot to do online check in and when we got to riverside the lines were out the door for regular check in an about 15 people deep for the online check in. That was a nightmare!! Lol

I understand about the unexpected expenses, but I'm so glad your Disney trip is still on. And congrats on your first grandbaby!!!

And only Disney people can relate to a nightmare about check-in! (but I've had that nightmare before, too)

As for the shoes, the second the get in, I'll post them (and since you all like purses, too, I'll post pics of my Dooney & Bourke bags.....hubby keeps me spoiled).
