***Official November 2013***

Only 3 months left super excited. What is everyone doing the next few months in regards to planning or packing? My kids are excited but to young to have focused disney conversations and my DH could care less about going (I know he will change is mine once he sees how happy his kids are once we get there) so I enjoy everyone's discussions on the DISboards

Same here. I started a pre trip report to help pass the time and get advice on certain aspects of our trip. I'm also enjoying the November fb group. The kids start school next week so I think I'll start looking into getting clothes ready for packing after that.

Hi!! Super excited to join this group! We are going down on nov 5 and staying until the 9 at WL CL and then added a night at AKL from the 9 until the 10. Can't wait!!!!!! Never tried a split stay but it was cheaper to add a night and fly home the next day!

It will be a trip to celebrate DD 2 birthday ( she turns 3 right after we get home) - DH, myself and DD!

I am also writing a ptr, keeps me sane when I can talk Disney more! I tend to start packing near the end of the summer- when I find I'm not using my summer clothes as much I start putting them in a suitcase!
Other than that, I keep busy by making and remaking lists!

Love the making and remaking lists part! That is so me.
We are still wearing summer clothes so I have a little time ahead of me to figure this out. And hubby wears short sleeve almost all year so his won't be able to be packed until much later/last minute. But the other little odds and end can go in the suitcase. Actually we have a little two night get away planned for Labor Day weekend so I could get things going in the suitcase for that.
Where did the dancing banana go on my options?:banana::banana::banana: Oh found him. LOL

I'll make the changes for you! OMG....I just realized you're from Middletown! :) Except for a brief stint, I have worked in Delaware for the past 15 years. We were looking at houses there, but I can get the same house for 1/2 the price in NJ (plus, our parents still live here). Maybe one day I'll move to Davenport (FL).....

Hi FigmentChick :wave2:

What a small world no pun intended :rotfl: We moved to Middletown almost 19 years ago because at that time we could get 2 acres and a nice size house for about 1/2 the cost. There was only one grocery store and a dairy queen and that's it, boy have times changed.

Thanks for making the changes to our dates and resorts :goodvibes

Arriving 28th November and staying at POFQ for week. Been to Orlando 4 times before but will be our first time staying at Disney accomodation. We are transferring to a villa for the next 2 weeks and my daughter's boyfriend will be joining us. My son married a girl from North Carolina and they moved there last year, but we are paying for them to join us for 4 days in the villa. It will be lovely to see my son again and I have booked tickets for MVMCP on 15th December so we will all be together again :)
Really enjoying planning for this holiday and becoming very addicted to the forum!

90 days from now we'll be on the plane getting ready to land at MCO!

Good morning! We are going to te very first MVMCP and I know it will be crowded but hopefully not too bad. We are doing a resort day that day so hopefully we will be rested and up for the crowds. :) anyone else going on Nov 9? Any word on when Osbourne lights will start at HS?

Too cool that we too will be on that same plane with two people we have never met going to the same resort. LOL Gotta love the internet.

I woke panicked this morning that I have too much to do before I leave. Then took a breath and said I can do this in 90 days.

:cool1:

I believe the Osbourne Lights will start on Friday, November 8th.

So I know a local family down at the World now.
Each day I get a text message with another picture of something they are doing. This gets me all excited inside. Happy for them and can't wait for me.

But it also has my day dragging. I don't want to do anything but look up Disney stuff and start packing. I had a dream last night that I didn't pack the right clothes. geeeesh.

I better go do something. :laundy:

We need a secret signal so we know who we are!

A lot of DISsers use the LMGH, which is short for a Lime Green Mickey Head. Its a paper cutout that is about 3". They used to be paint sample chips at Home Depot, but I think the paint got discontinued. So people still just take a lime green sheet of paper/cardboard, then cut out a small Mickey head. Attach to your backpack/stroller/carry-on/etc ... then other DISsers will know who you are!:thumbsup2

I usually attach one to my purse strap with a safety pin.

Some people even write their DIS username one it in Sharpie ... I leave mine blank, but like the conversations you can end up having with other DISsers because of it.

That's awesome! I am so going to make one and do this! I think I will probably put an autism awareness and breast cancer awareness pin on mine.
