Since it will be cold when we leave Pittsburgh, we will have jeans/coats/gloves with us. I plan on packing a bit of everything (warm and cold weather clothes)for each of us. I will be checking the ten day forecast before we leave and pack according to that. BUT our last visit in February 2010 we had a day where it was 38(!) degrees when we woke up. At night it was chilly a few times to the point where the kids had gloves and jackets on too. So I am coming prepared for all sorts of weather

We were there the 1st week of February 2010 and it was FREEZING and really windy a few days! Lucky we left NC in an ice storm so we had coats, but still!

We are coming from Massachusetts that same week. Pout I hope I don't need my winter coat down there. I'll rebel and wear a hoodie under a wind breaker. I'll bring my gloves......kind of like carrying an umbrella so it doesn't rain.
All plans have been great so far, it's going to be great weather.

I just looked at average temps. High 75-80, and low 55-60. I'll take that!!!!
Capri pants and short sleeves. Light jacket at night.
For those that like the pool areas, that would be a little chilly for me to swim as I'm not a big swimmer. BUT mid-day the kids would have fun.
I say dress in layers!!!
Can't wait!!!

Have you subscribed to the November adr cancellation thread? There have been a few people post bog cancellations in the last few days! Keep trying!

Yup! I'm checking it all the time. And checking the website several times a day. I haven't given up!

(I also gave it to the club level guys to check for me but haven't heard any good news from them either. They said it is really difficult to get BOG right now. Obviously!)

Hello all! We are joining you from Nov. 9th - 16th. We will be staying at in two rooms at the Pop Century. This will be the kiddos second trip. Their last trip was in 2011. Hubby and I stayed at POR last December, so we are excited to show the kiddos all of Disney's Christmas time specialness. 97 days to go!!

Noticed that I needed to change my dates. We are 11/16-11/23. Still at CSR.

Also... I just randomly tried and got a BoG reservation for 7:00 on the night we'll be at MK. I nearly fell over.

I'll make all the updates later this morning. I woke up and just sat on the couch (it's been a long week already)....now I need to go and get my boys ready for camp and me ready for work. It's going to be a loooong day.....we're having our annual membership appreciation thing tonight. Thank goodness I'm finance and I don't have to set up, just direct people to locations tonight.

I know I posted this question here but just can't find it So I"m going to ask again....Since we are arriving on Nov 10...BEFORE FD starts we are doing that first night as a room only reservation....on the 11th we have to check out...check BACK in and then be at MK by 8 a.m. for Crystal Palace...is this even possible???? Also, what are the chances of us keeping the same room? Our reservations are linked together so I'm hoping that gives us a better chance. I'll have issues if they make us change rooms unless they give us a free upgrade for the inconvenience

We are doing the exact same thing. I have on my reservation that it is a continuing reservation and it is linked, so here is to hoping. I assume they will be able to tell me the day we check in for our room only if they were able to keep it for the same rooms or not.

I had to do this on our last trip (except ours was 2 days with no FD). My reservations were connected and I stayed in the same room (yay!). I went down at 6:30, but was unable to check-in until 7am. However, I think it's now 6am. You should be able to re-check back in and be on your way to Crystal Palace in short order.

I think I read that it's for DVC members and AP holders only. I'm not too happy with this because I think it will make walkups an even longer wait. And we were really hoping to have lunch but I don't want to spend half the day waiting in line to get in.

Oh, that makes sense. I found the thread and read a few posts. I guess that explains why only some were able to make a reservation.
Yes, I would think this could make our wait longer. Guess I shouldn't get the kids excited about seeing Beast's castle just yet. I didn't think it would be worth using a sit-down meal from the dp on BOG but if the wait is going to be EVEN LONGER, I might have to rethink this.

OK...I am going to spend some time this morning working on the updates. Boy, I am soooo tired. I worked 14 hours yesterday. Normally, I am just stuck in my office working on accounting things, but yesterday was our Membership Appreciation Celebration so I helped with the set up and then I was in our gym with all the moonbounce-obstacle course stuff. It was fun and I'm very glad our members had such a great time. I just feel like I need a day to sleep. lol
