***Official November 2013***

FigmentChick we're actually staying the first couple days with family coming from Seattle WA, who all ready have a condo booked and just happen to have a spare bedroom. We probably could have stayed with them the whole time, but I have a hard time with off site. I would usually use Hotwire for any other hotel, but thank so much for the suggestions and being helpful. Also FigmentChick thank you so much for taking time out to maintain and update this thread you're doing an awesome job, and it is much appreciated! !!!

Yes, thank you so much FigmentChick!

Whoo-hoo!!!! You saved $$$ and you're countdown reduced! :cool1: So glad to have you on board. Were you able to get all the ADRs you wanted?

Mostly, once the rumored FD dates came out I booked ADR's for when I would switch to if they were accurate...only would like to get pre-park Tusker House and Crystal Palace if possible that I didn't get. I will keep watching....

:welcome: I think we're on our 5th trip since 2006....you've got us beat. lol

The update me is for the people who have already made reservations (or just plans), but changed them due to the new offers. For example, some people were booked at POR and had to change to CSR beacuse, by the time they got through, all the rooms at POR were taken for the offer.

:welcome: and we're so glad to have you here! And I agree, November can't get here soon enough.

:welcome: And I think you and Joyce have some logistical planning to do! :rotfl: I think it's absolutely so cool that you two are from the same area, are on the same plane, and are staying at the same resort. Ah, how friendships are made....

No....I'm serious. One of my closest friends I met on the DIS when planning our 2011 trip. She lives in OH, but we talk all the time. I think it's so cool to have a Disney friend so close to home!

Happy planning!

Deep breathe...I swear, it's not confusing, but there is a lot to navigate. Are there any questions you have that we can help answer. It can be overwhelming, too, but that's why I have my planning binder. Anything new that I think of....I write down and shove in there. lol

Tried to make the quote shorter as I wanted to comment on a few things that Figmentchick wrote.

So does this mean you are keeping some kind of list or something?

How are people putting the countdown on their signiture?

Yes I've made some amazing friends via forums for various events/experiences in my life. I have friends all over the world. Some I've met and some strictly via the boards/email. Just so awesome. I hope we do meet at the airport.

I got my ADRs on day 180. It seems like forever ago. We have:
LeCelier, Crystal palace, Lunch with an Imagineer at Brown Derby, Be Our Guest, Ohana, Yak and Yeti

hmmmm seems I'm missing one since I don't think the special lunch will be covered on my FD.
Oh my! I just realized that we definitely need to add a table meal. LOL What a difficult situation to be in. :cheer2: I'm aware LeCelier is 2 table meals but we have a total of 7 to spend.

Besides our special lunch with Imagineer, we will have lunch with the Keys to Kingdom tour.

Well off to more planning. This is a little more challenging (but fun) that I thought it would be.

If you look at the first page of this thread, you'll see the list of who is staying when and where.

We also have Ohana and Yak & Yeti for our ADR's. I'll have to look at my spreadsheet to see when they are. Would be so funny if same days/times.

Thanks. I'll have to go look at Page 1.
This is too funny. I have my spread sheet going too. Just added Flyin Fish(yes I know it's a 2 table credit) as I wanted to make sure I got over to Boardwalk one night. (Tuesday)

Ohana's is Thursday night and Yak & Yeti is Friday lunch.
I just was reading about RIX at CSR. That looks like our speed for breakfast.

We will be getting a rental car for a couple days as Hubby and I (friends have other plans) will be going over the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine on Sunday morning.
Any Catholics out there that haven't been there, we recommend it. Very pretty and peaceful. Nice Masses with people from all over the World. Last time we went the Priest asked where people were from. It was pretty amazing to hear and then all be able to celebrate Mass together.

Heading over to first post.:cool1:

We're going Nov. 16-22 and we switched from AoA to POP so we could get FD. Just letting the admin know so it can be changed :)

Ok...our Ohana is Monday and Y&Y is Tuesday.

We did Flying Fish our first night last October. It was pretty good. Our fave signature though was Citricos at Grand Floridian. It was so good.

Wahoooie! I'm finally excited about CSR. The more I look around with the options of things to do (eat, relax and so on) I'm so excited. This looks like it will be just the vacation combination of things I wanted. I think I could spend a couple days not even leaving the resort.

Our days of which park pick depends on where we have ADRs. also with hopper passes when we don't have ADRs we are leaving the options of where we will go and what we will do up to the moment.

Now I have to pull up the big map to get a feel for transportation.
Yup this has been a Disney research day. LOL pixiedust:

Our plans have changed since I first booked this vacation last November! Since free dining didn't include AOA, we switched to POR- riverside in the Royal Guest room. We also have added on a day well be there Nov 13-22. I'm excited to look up everything about POR now since I never really paid it that much attention before.

I've never stayed at POR but have POFQ and both resorts are very beautiful. I went the end of October 2010 and walked over to POR along the river. It was a beautiful and peaceful walk. From the little I've read it looks really nice.

Funny how a bunch of us had to switch to another resort that we are not familiar with and now have to research the change. At first I wasn't all that excited about the "new" idea, but the more I read, really I don't know that anywhere on Disney property I would not be happy.

I think I'll reflect on my visits and change my signature to reflect my stays.

Figured it out!!!!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

Pout signature looks chopped.

After much attempts.....It's still chopped but at least most of the signature is there.
I guess it will do. At least I see the count. :-)
Sorry if I wasn't suppose to test here. I was going to delete the post once I figured the signature out, but I can't figure out how to delete posts. :-(

POR is really great!! We stayed there in 2009 & 2011 and loved it both times. The food court is totally awesome and hubby & I loved just walking around the resort. Plus, the boat to DTD is relaxing and you go by the Treehouses (someplace I'd love to stay in one day).

It looks great! And feel free to test it. I know I've done a ticker/signature and looked back and gone "um...nope....gotta fix it".

Glad you're with us! :)

Yay!!!:cool1: So excited to officially be a part of this thread!:cheer2:

Originally for FD could only get 2 rooms at ASMu, then switched to 2 rooms at POP when that became available.

Now I just snagged a GV room at POR for our family of 5.:cheer2: That cost us @ $1500 less than the other options above.:thumbsup2

POR here we come!:hyper::wave2:

Joyce - have you checked out the CSR FAQ's Thread? Lots of good info and fabulous photos.

Kelleigh, I thought I did but let me go look at this thread.
I've been out all day and just got in. But haven't stopped thinking Disney and telling everyone, even if they don't care, what my countdown is at. LOL
I can't believe we will break 100 by the weekend. I read so much about CSR yesterday that I asked Hubby to take me to Taco Bell at 8:30 last night. LOL
Good thing I have ADRs in the parks or we might not make it there.

Off to check out the CSR thread. :cool1:

Whoo-hoo!!!!:cool1: Isn't POR just great?! The only reason we're at OKW and not POR right now is because of the room. With OKW, we'll have the full kitchen and hubby & I will have a separate bedroom (which will be really nice).

I'll make the change for you! :thumbsup2
