Greetings fellow November 2013 travelers!!!

Today is 100 days from my trip!!! Originally we were going to stay at POR but we got free dining at WL and switched. We'll be there 11/11 to 11/17!

My son loves all things Disney and this will be his first trip--basically anywhere, but we're glad his first real vacation is to Walt Disney World.

I had a free dining code that Disney sent a few weeks back (I had ordered a travel DVD), so I decided to book my birthday trip for November 20-25 at Pop Century! I am so excited, I haven't been to Disney on either coast for 10 years. Looking forward to reading the tips here at the DIS, especially regarding transportation, as I may take a day trip to Largo one of those days to meet some Facebook friends.
Called the reservation phone number and requested a quiet room (away from the pool) in the '50s building. I love the '50s and am excited to see how Disney set up this resort according to the different decades.

We'll be there for part of your trip - we're going 11/14 - 11/19 - we were originally booked at bc but switched to the poly for the room only discount (dates weren't available at bc).
It's our 1st WDW trip too & my ds(6) is also super excited! It's both my 1st time & my son's 1st time on a plane too!
I bet we'll all have a fantastic time!!

Hi there! I'm from Morris County... so Northwest.

Yeah....just a bit far from me. LOL I live at Exit 1 on the NJTP and 295, so waaaay South of you. I live on the Delaware River right near the Delaware Memorial Bridge (I can actually see Delaware from my house). I can't wait until November gets here!!! I'm am literally brimming with excitement today! (can you tell Disney music will be playing on my drive home today? )

So happy you finally got what you wanted! I'm suprised there are such few options at Disney available for families of 5!
This is our first disney trip, so not exactly sure what to expect- but am soooo excited & can't wait to see my son's face!
We'll be there for part of the same time - we're going 11/14-11/19... thinking of possibly adding a night at animal kingdom...maybe...

Well after trying since Thursday 6 am and all today, my TA finally got through and got us Caribbean Beach Resort with free dining Nov 11-17! Not any of my choices but I don't care at this point! Just glad it's finalized and we're going to DW!!

Wow! CBR sure is going to be full with all the FD people! I've never stayed there, though so I can't help with any advice.

No, this will be our first time staying there, we can't wait! I booked over the phone with Disney, I didn't request a specific section but was told to choose a preferred room in order to be close to the main building. Have a great trip!!

Leave NC November 14. Camping overnight in southern Ga. and then should arrive at the Fort around noon on November 15. Staying until the 23rd.

Our fifth trip but the first since 2008.
