DME luggage tags & voucher alway comes separate from Mickey Mail due to it coming directly from DME. I received my DME package on the 2nd of October but still waiting on Mickey Mail & we have 36 days.

Got our mickey mail a few days ago ...now waiting on our magic bands. Question about parades...where do they normally start (front of the park or back)? I've heard people say that the Party parades start from the back and the everyday parades (Celebrate and electrical) start from the front Anyone know?

Ok I'm confused.
Is my luggage tags with my vouchers Mickey Mail? This did not have Magic Express tags, just the luggage tags. If NO what comes in Mickey Mail?

I assume Magic Express will send me tags on another day.

And then again I'll be getting my box with my Magic bands but since I have until the 17th to customize, I know I won't see them until after that.

My last trip they came together, I got nervous when they weren't in the envelope. No big deal though, just means more mail from Disney. I am still waiting on Magic Bands, ME luggage stickers and I'm about to order PP+ so i guess I'll be getting the voucher for that. That should keep me occupied for a minute or two.

Has anyone noticed that when you are wanting a specific smilie, you have to use the more function cause it's not appearing in the quick column?
How do the "chosen ones" get in that column?
Is it like the "chosen ones" of the Disney pin world?

Oh yeah, but Costco is the one store I actually like shopping at. Frozen yogurt in a solo cup for $1.35 is just so freakin' awesome. Although Costco just replaced their Coke machine in the snack bar with Pepsi. I'm not quite over that yet, people shouldn't mess with my Diet Coke. And if they are going to, they should at least supply me with wine as a substitute.

Speaking of shopping, I really don't like it so I try to get it done all at one time. Last month I took my husband and boys to Kohls because they all needed a lot of things, especially hubby. We dropped $700. A couple of weeks later we got a card from the CEO of Kohls thanking us for our loyalty. We couldn't stop laughing - that's how you know you spent too much at a store.

Same thing for me, what a waste of a stamp. Why not include the ME tags? I gave them the info at the beginning of August when I booked.

So sorry about your mom, my birth mother had brain cancer, but it was way before all these modern treatments. She was actually one of the trial people who got interferon(sp?) implanted directly into her brain. Hope your mom has a magical trip.

Wait, what? I thought Peter Pan was only closed until the 13th? I think I booked a FP+ for it on the 15th.

We never played Sorcerer's of the MK before, but since we have 7 people in our party I figured we would each get a pack and that would be enough. Do we really need to get some in advance?

Last report on PP was the 15th not 17th my error, sorry! I have a FP for the 15th, but looks like it may wrap up early. So keep an eye out that week!

Sorcerers is most fun with a bunch of cards so the kids can choose which spells to counter with. The pack cards in the MK fire house will likely give alot of doubles, unless you have a bunch of people in your party , buy a few before hand.

OK, you are going to make me change my FP+ again!
I had one for Barnstormer, changed it to JOLM because it sounded like it was so popular. Now I don't want to miss the queue theming! Why oh why do they make us make these decisions so far in advance?!
Oh and that will likely be my kid trying to eat the "snow"....I'll let you all know what he says it tastes like. : )

I was that kid eating the snow....about 8 people asked me what it tasted like......

Again I'm not leaving for 35 days and if worse comes to worse, I'll go retrieve my own luggage and haul it with me. Nothing will stop me from getting on that plane. Ok well of course if the cancel my flight because of SNOOOOOOWWW! then I would have a problem. Big time! Cause I'll start walking.


Why does 35 days sound far far away tonight?

I need to read up more on the fp+ and MB's. My mom can't ride everything that we may want to ride. Plus, it may be hard for her to keep up with any FP+ times. Are we still able to use the "normal" fastpass machines even with the magic bands? I'm trying to figure out which way to go with this.

Thank you and sorry about your mom too! It was/is a big shocker, that's for sure. There is still no cure. We are taking it all one day at a time and are very thankful for small victories.

So happy you're here. We spent Thanksgiving in Disney 2 years ago it was wonderful. The weather is great and the decorations are spectacular.

Oh you didn't need to edit. It's ok to repeat answers as i'm finding a lot of people only read a couple post and don't bother to notice that 10 posts back is the answer to their question.

Then again not everyone sits at their computer obsessed about Disney so they figure if they read and talk Disney it will feel like they are there. Insane thinking as it's not working. I'm not getting there any faster.

Don't even joke about snow stopping us. I purposely didn't book at the end of October for precisely that reason. My boys keep telling me this is the year for the Monsoon to ruin Halloween. If snow is in the forecast for my departure date I will be heading to Newark the night before and begging JetBlue to let me take an earlier flight. If that doesn't work maybe we will meet on the road when we are picked up by some trucker while walking down 95.
