Official ( No Spoiler) Bachelorette Thread ~Kaitlyn Gets The Vote!

Not a regular viewer of this show but get sucked in every once in a while. I have questions for those who watch regularly. Is the overnight date the same as the fantasy suite? Do the couples always have these dates and does this mean that they are having sex? If the answer is yes then why all the apparent outrage in the teaser about Kaitlin having sex with one of the guys? If my assumptions are correct then it would seem to be a foregone conclusion.

YES, the overnights are the so-called fantasy suite dates.
NO, they do not have to do this and spend the night together.
NO, they do not have to have sex.

Some have held off.
Some have had sex with all of the final contenders, just because, no matter who they want to propose to.
There have been every myriad of possibilities happen.
One made it thru the time that evening, and it went so badly, the left the show immediately.

Remember, at the fantasy date, at that point, the whole thing is that there is supposed to be a proposal.
And this is the one night that the show offers an overnight, with no cameras.
Most would not want to propose to somebody that they have not had the opportunity to spend that kind of time with.

We don't know from the previews WHEN the date with alleged sex occurred. All we've seen are the previews. It could be JUST before the very end (when the fantasy suite dates occur) in which case, really, is it all the different than the fantasy suite overnights? Nope. While the show airs over quite a lengthy period, the reality is that the ENTIRE thing is filmed in less than 6 weeks. And the "overnight" dates happen at the end of week 5 or beginning of week 6.

Personally, I'm not having sex with anybody that fast, but that's just me. I don't get calling Kaitlyn a skunk over the fact that she MAY have slept with someone before the fantasy suites. Didn't Ben do this with Courtney (his ultimate pick) way before the end (their romp in the ocean....where Courtney at least claims sex was had)? It happens.

The only difference this time is that the producers have chosen to make a "big deal" out of it.

TMZ has a blurb on Chris Soules & Kaitlyn & Britt. The TMZ people were snarking about how Kaitlyn apparently slept with one of the guys & admits it. They were really funny.

Then they show clip of Chris Soules. They interviewed him going to the DWTS cast party last nite, after the show. The TMZ guy must have mentioned the preview clip of how Kaitlyn slept with some guy and the guys reactions. Chris said, "That awkward." Then he goes onto mention Britt and gives a mini spoiler about her. But he was too vague to really figure out what's going on. But, don't watch it, if you don't want to know.

Also, Jimmy Kimmel interviewed Britt last night, and he might have leaked a mini spoiler about her. Although, it could have been speculation on Jimmy's part. It was about that one guy who told Kaitlyn he was there for Britt and went off in search of her. That interview is probably up on YouTube. Again, don't watch if you don't want a possible spoiler.

I didn't have a chance to watch yet, except for believe it or not, the part where Chris is telling Britt she's out and tells Kaitlin she's in. I liked that Kaitlin's first thoughts were of how Britt took the news, and then how excited she was wanting to go in right away. That's all I have seen so , I ma WAY behind you guys, lol. Then I overheard Jimmy Kimmel from the other room (when I was cleaning the kitchen ), that he predicts Shaun "B" I think? So I need to see who that is. Anyway, hope to be caught up by next week. Oh, on Kimmel he also asked Britt

I still have not had a chance to watch yet, but apparently a contestant named Justin is from my town, Naperville. 27, blonde, brought balloons getting out of the limo? Personal trainer (really? ) has a son. No idea if he has been cut yet, or which team he is on...but there's my local connection lol. My town is over 140,000 people tho~ so yeah~he's like family not.

Yes, this is supposed to have happened with Ben and Courtney.
I thought the same thing there to.
I feel the Courtney is a Skank. (not skunk)

But, to answer that previous poster's question.
If this happened, which at some point is seems that it did, then, with all of the producers and cameras, how did they manage to try to pull that off??? That might be interesting to see. I suppose if somebody is that blatant and determined, the cameras and producers don't or won't stop them.

Finfan... he's really cute. I missed him bringing balloons - don't remember him, but that's typical. They all kind of look alike until she weeds them out for me. I voted "other". We all know where to find the spoilers if we want to read them, but I don't (google).

Nick? Really?!? If we learned anything from Andi's season, it's that Nick can't be trusted (and has a BIG mouth). I'm surprised Kaitlyn kissed him, let alone anything else that might have happened.

I am glad she was chosen though. She does seem more down-to-earth than Britt. Her reaction to getting chosen was great! So she took one of the guys for an early test drive...I guess that means she is human.

Chris the cupcake guy said he was originally from outside Sacramento; turns out he's from Granite Bay, just one town over. He was also a model on season 2 of the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency reality show.
