**Official MVMCP, 2010!** Guest list, tips and info.

If this has already been answered I apologize in advance. I did a search but could not find what I was looking for. We are heading to Disney World November 13th through the 19th. We are taking advantage of the free dinning plan and have 7 magic your way tickets on our room key. My question is can we use one of those magic your way tickets to get us in for the Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party or do we need to purchase a separate ticket?

We will be there at the same time. Nov 13 - 20. The MVMCP is a special event that you will need to purchase the tickets for separately.

We will be at the party on Nov 18 (also DH's birthday)!

It is a separately ticketed event which technically starts when the Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm and runs until midnight. I've seen in other posts that you can use your MVMCP ticket to enter the park starting around 4pm and you get a wristband to denote that you've paid for the entrance to the party. This will be our first MVMCP so we're very excited. Have been to the Halloween party twice before and found it to be worth the extra money. If you do end up going I hope you enjoy it.

We will be at one of the earlier parties (Nov. 16th):goodvibes:woohoo:

This is our first MVMCP too and we're staying at POP for the first time!:santa: We'll be there December 15-21. When will you guys be there?

We will be at the party on Dec 2nd. :santa:

Will be attending on Dec. 14th! =)

My best friend and I are going to the party on December 14th, and we have an ADR at The Wave at 5:20 :)

We'll be attending the December 14th party! :santa:

I don't know where or when to suggest a meet....or if anyone besides you and I are interested, Katie! The Dole Whip meet people are meeting at...Aloha Isle for Dole whips.

I would think earlier would be better....it looks like those who posted ADRs are all earlier in the afternoon but maybe it would be nice to meet somewhere that people could get a snack or a drink and be able to sit down while we chat. Here's some places (but I can't remember if all of them have seating??)
Main Street Bakery
Lunching Pad
Auntie Gravities
Sleepy Hollow

Any thoughts? Anyone interested?

I found a schedule from last year's party
7:45pmCelebrate the Season show (castle)
8:15pm Parade
9:30pm Holiday Wishes
10:05pm Celebrate the season show
10:30pm 2nd Parade
There are also shows in Tomorrowland (7:45, 8:45, 10:45 and 11:45)
Belle's Enchanted Christmas (7:30pm, 9:55, 11:00)

I hope that helps!

I'd be in for a Dis meet. Would earlier be better or mid afternoon, closer to party time?

Hey guys! Sorry I'm so far behind on updating. I'll try my best to get to it tonight.

BUT - I have a question....

I've changed our flights, so we will be getting there early enough on our first day to go to the party (12/10). Would it be more crowded on a Friday than a Thursday (12/16)? Would it be better to start the trip with the party or end it with the party??? :confused3 What do you guys think? :flower3:

Bought tickets for December 7th! Also doing the fireworks dessert party that night. You'll probably find me passed out on Buzz Lightyear from sugar overload!:rotfl2:

We'd be in for a meet if anyone decides to get together on the 14th. I have a two year old so earlier in the night would be better for us. Or does anyone have lunch? We have an ADR at Raglan Road at 3:00 for earlier that day. Whatever works- we'll figure it out.
Dana

Does anyone know if we will be able to see the parade from the dessert party location? I am nervous because we have so much planned for our MVMCP day, including dinner at the castle which has changed, and then the dessert party... I'm wondering if we need to try and move our CRT ressie (good luck with that right?) to sometime earlier... Argh! I just don't know!

We went to the dessert party last year and the fireworks viewing was wonderful. But, you can not see the parade. After the 1st parade, we were able to find a good place to see the parade and it was not as crowded as the first. Enjoy

Is everyone planning on seeing the first or the 2nd parade of the night? I can't decide!

I'm trying to figure that out too, as most tips say to do the 2nd parade, but if everyone follows that you would think the first would be less crowded right? ;)
