"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

Hey, so if you buy tickets to a party but aren't staying on property (and therefore not getting magic bands) do you receive paper tickets in the mail? Can you still make FP+? What do you scan to use FP+ if not a magic band?

Thanks!
You can link your ticket in MM+ (or MDE or whatever we're calling it) right away and make FP+ arrangements. You don't have to wait for the tickets to arrive in the mail.

Just link your hard ticket to MDX to make FPs. You will then use your hard ticket to enter the park and scan at FP entrance points.

If anyone will be at The Magic Kingston on November 18th, there is a there was a really unique Hidden Mickey in the queue line at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. What makes it so special? It's literally only visible for one hour a year. At high noon on Mickey Mouse's birthday, the sun will be in perfect alignment to project a Hidden Mickey on the wall in the queue line. The picture below shows the line of sight and the rock formation responsible for the projection. If you happen to be in the Magic Kingdom on November 18th, be in the queue at noon to catch this amazing annual event.

Thinking I need to re plan our outfits for the 8th, this whole 89/90 next weekend is not going to be fun. Always manged to have nice cooler weather this time of year at Disney in the past. I am in NE FL and its just plan hot today.

ugh my whole schedule at work changed so where I only have Saturday and Sunday off - I'm extremely greatful for my new position however I shouldn't ask for days off in my first couple months of appointment - agreed?

Also, have we got an update on characters or cards so I can make sure I put the new info in he OP?

If you already have it booked, I find most employers seem to be really understanding, as this has been the experiences of me and plenty of my family and friends. When I started the job I'm at now, I had an event planned for that Friday! I had been laid off the week before, and applied for this job that Friday night when I got home...got the interview Saturday, had it Tuesday and was hired right away and started the next week. As soon as I was hired I explained the situation for that Friday and my now-boss was extremely understanding and had no issues with me needing off so soon since this had all happened in a whirlwind, and I had emails to prove it had been booked since March!

I think it if you explain it politely and phrase it in a way like "I know I was just appointed so I completely understand if this isn't possible," like really apologetic, it might work! It can't hurt to politely try!

Anyway, when you click on the party description for the day, then it says fairy godmother. So completely conflicting information on the two different pages on the same website. I'm sure we're all shocked that Disney would put out wrong information :badpc:
to add to the conflicting info, the official blog posted something about the party that includes the new info about voiceplay, but has frozen holiday wish (instead of the return to the fairy godmother)- so still not sure which one they're actually going to go with this year.

Maybe it'll be a combination of both...the Frozen cast gets permission from Cinderella to cover her castle in ice.

Yeah, I know, never gonna happen, or if people even would want it to happen, but it'd be interesting.
