****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

Got some great news this weekend - our local amusement park opened starting this weekend, we always get season passes so took advantage of the lower crowds (pretty chilly), and DD6 is finally able to go on the 48 inch rides (at least with shoes on, LOL). She is SO excited, on our trip last October she cried and cried when she couldn't got on Rockin Rollercoaster, now she's all fired up! Only downside is DH and I will now need to take the dramamine and ride stuff too, we kind of fibbed and said Expedition Everest was 48 inches last time cause neither of us are huge fans of heights so we just walked by it really fast saying "maybe next time." Guess next time is here! Might also mean we hit Universal on our fall trip, as she was too small for WWOHP's castle ride and was inconsolable. She's pretty determined to marry Daniel Ratcliff when she's older I think. I'll have to get her some water shoes or something for Blizzard Beach in case there is a little "shoe room" in the height. We've never been there before, I'm assuming she can wear water shoes or does anyone know if you have to go barefoot?

I know we're getting close, but somehow it feels like everyone else's time is going faster while we're staying the same, anyone else feel that way?

This week I'm going to Disney!!! We're 5 days away. I went through the suitcases last night... we're going shopping today I'm going to print off my itineraries today so that means all plans are final and no more changes!

Will you attend EMH? If so, what attractions do you find are best to visit during EMH?​

We usually go to evening hours and go on whatever suits our fancy at the time. With three little ones going on the trip with us this time, most likely no emh.

Question of the Day:

If I am in the mood for something cold and refreshing, where is your favorite place to go and purchase something in any of the parks or resorts? ​

Mmmmm. . .dole whip, and again on this trip it will be as close as the GCH to whatever longhouse I'm in

ok...I'm going crazy. Finally under the 30 day mark. Have lots of things to keep up busy until our trip. It feels so far away...but yet only 29 days away...

We are going to start making our signs and t-shirts today...

kids are getting excited...looking at our coin jar (that we are cashing in the day before we leave) trying to figure out what in WDW we are going to use it for. (should be about $50)

Trying to finish up packing today (except for toothbrush/hairbrush, etc). DH is out of town from tomorrow morning until Thursday evening. I have work all week, and four baseball games, concession stand duty, a scout meeting and our elementary school open house over the next four days

I just can't wait to sit down on that plane - and take a deep breath!

Thank you!! I actually do work full time as an accountant. I am just lucky to have an amazing fiance and family to help with everything.

I am 90% packed and wedding is mostly ready! I might be MIA the end of this week though haha.

2nd post to this thread. I'm so late in the game. Just got back from the mall. Got my girls some flip flops and sun glasses for our trip. Also stocked up on some wet wipes and sunblock. I can't wait until single digits!

Just pulled out all of my clothes, took photos of each outfit to make sure I'd have enough clothes. Still need to buy a couple camis but other than that, looks like I'm fully prepared with clothes!! For some reason, I started panicking a bit today. I guess with 2 weeks of school and a house to clean and bags to pack, it sounds like so much to do!

I am so excited for our KTTK tour!

I'll definitly be at WDW at least twice this year. Maybe more!

Me too! May is always such a crazy month around here... Birthdays and a garage sale and baseball games (and a tournament this year!) and planting my gardens will keep me busy enough that the rest of the countdown will fly by almost too fast.
