I'm back
We got back from 10 nights at CSR on Sunday.
I moved away from my mum about 8 years ago, so this was the longest we have spent together in a very long time. We did well
Weather behaved mostly, though the rain/thunder storms were worse than I expected. The pool was closed a few evenings because of it.
We finally bought a rain poncho last Wednesday and it never rained again after that. HA!
We got stuck in Ranchos at CSR. I really don't mind walking, I don't own a car and walk everywhere at home but about halfway through the trip we were getting tired of the long walk just to refill our mugs. It was so hot that by the time we got to our room or the pool we would have finished our mugs ;-)
Also we had a second floor room and boy was that confusing, we kept getting lost trying to find the stairs in our building.
I did ask about a new room and was offered one in Building 4(?) on day 4 or 5 but in the end we stayed in our room since at least it was close to the Dig Site Pool.
Definitely doing online check in next time.
Had the quick service dining plan and I didn't gain any weight despite always eating a full meal(we only shared twice) and mostly chosing cupcakes and icecream for dessert, I guess it shows how much walking we did. Wish I had remembered the pedometer.
I think I have however gained some weight eating the leftover snacks I brought home to the UK, how can a giant mickey rice krispie treat covered in Reeses Pieces be 1 snack credit? Fabulous!!
Because we had the UK dining plan, we had 40 snacks(2 a day per person) and it's just too much food. We probably each brought 10 snacks home as presents.
It was a fabulous trip, we took our time to relax and smell the roses but I can't see myself returning for quite some time now. Maybe once OH and I have added little ones to our family

Hopefully OH will learn to love Disney as much as me.
I can't wait to see Disney from a different side.
