I know. I am thinking the same thing. I was really excited about Free Dining and really it is what made us book, but now I am beginning to thing otherwise. I was to bump our trip up a week. I just think Memorial Day weekend will be too crowded.... I need to make a decision soon, because it's almost time to make dining plans..... I'm stressed! We are supposed to arrive the 27th and leave the 4th. I don't want it to be wall to wall people!

I am going back and forth everyday. If we changed to May 27, I have to make the ADRs on Nov. 23. The crowds will be wall to wall Memorial week according to two tour plans guide. The crowd level is 8. I have to make my mind up soon too.

When you call for your ADR for Les Chefs des France, make sure you ask what time Remy is supposed to be appearing. I got a 5:00 reservations since he is supposed to show up at 5:20, and that is the only time during dinner.

Thanks for the tip! We got to see Remi two years ago and he was so cute! The "waiter" who went around with him was so funny, too.

We went last year over Memorial Day weekend and it wasn't really that bad (we did stay at the resort and swim/relax on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, though). We arrived the Monday before the holiday weekend and parks were not bad at all during the week. So I wouldn't worry too much about it! I would just get to the parks early and use FPs. That said, if you can bump the trip up a week, I'm sure the crowds will be better. We are going this year May 12-21 and the crowd levels are crazy low! Some days are 0.5 crowd rating!

touringplans.com has the crowd calendar for each day and gives you the ratings per park and overall WDW. It also has the park hours up for May. Your dates are mostly overall levels of 3-5 with the 27 being a 7. It costs only about $10 to sign-up and you get 1 year of access.

I finally booked our vacation home so now it's official - May 15-22!
This is the longest I've ever waited to do any serious planning and my family thinks there's something wrong with me. So just to make them happy, I guess I'll get started!

We booked our May 7th - 14th trip with a 30% Pin code Trying out CBR for the pool for the kids.

Now my ADR date is only 1 week away. Has anyone had luck recently booking their ADR's using the on-line system? Is it letting you book 180 + 10 days? I had heard people were having issues after the updgrade in Oct.

We will be visiting CBR the week before you! We just booked our ADRs yesterday- I was only able to book for the first 180 day mark and not the +10 days after while using the online service. I tried logging in several different times but there didn't seem to be a way (that I could figure out) for it to recognize the +10 days for dining reservations. So we called instead and booked with an agent. She was very helpful and set us up for all of our days in one shot.

I have a weather-related question.


Our other two trips were both the second week of September. Very low crowds, but HOT HOT HOT! We still had fun though.. This upcoming trip will be May 21-30, and I was curious how it compares to September regarding the heat and humidity. I will be thrilled if it's a bit cooler than September.

Changed our dates! I received a code in the mail for 25% off that works for the family suite! So I bumped it up to where we are not going over memorial day weekend. We'll check in on the 18th and leave on the 26th. It was about 200 more to do that versus the free dining, but I honestly feel better about our dates and crowds. who knows maybe something better will come along. Anyone know what the crowd levels say for that week? I am a TGM subscriber but his calendar for may isn't posted yet.

Thanks! I was looking forward to being able to use the on-line system for more than just the first day. But I'm sure I'll change my mind in a week or two and make some ADR tweeks and be able to use the on-line system then. I new I was going to have to call for the Fantasmic Dinner pkg. Last trip we used a TA s this is my first time that I'll be calling. Can't wait !!

Yeah ! The last two times I've been to Disney were in early May - I love that time of year. Hot days and cooler evenings. Where are you staying?
