*Official* May 2010 Thread - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! It's May!

Alright, I've got a question for all of you people that have been in May before! We went last May 10 - 17 and thought it was absolutely wonderful, one of the best trips we've ever taken to WDW. Those dates are an option for us again this year (May 9-13), but it works out even better for us to go May 23 - 27. Same number of days and everything, so that's not a factor.

So, how is May 23 - 27 crowd wise? I'm assuming that since we're missing Memorial Day and schools are (probably?) still in session that we're good? Anyone been around May 9-13 and May 23-27 and can give me a comparison?

The earlier in May the better. The Flower Festival at Epcot would be still going for your trip May 9-13 but not for the later dates. We have been on at both times in May and we like the earlier better. It seems that the local schools start taking field trips towards the end of the month and we noticed more kiddos around.

Late to post, but we are going to be there May 8-15th and staying at BLT.

We have been before in May and LOVED it... weather was great, crowds were low and we were at Disney.. what could be better???

Thanks for your feedback! The Flower and Garden Festival really isn't a huge factor for us either - we went to it last year and were just there last week, so we've already seen it. Of course I'd love to see it again, but it's not a huge deal if I don't. I'm still kind of torn because we had such a great time during mid May last year, but the other dates really work out better for my husband's work.

I'd love more thoughts if anyone else has any.

My wait list just came through for AKV studio May 9-13. Just a quick stay for a few days. I've stayed at AKV and am very excited. I have a week stay planned for November at the VWL and just needed a quick fix. I can't wait until NOVEMBER!
