Official May 2009 Thread....The wait is on!!

You will be arriving the day after we leave POFQ! We arrive 5/16!
We have never stayed at FQ but have stayed at POR many times and loved it! Hope FQ is just as great!

We will be there at the same time! We have stayed there before and really love it. We have stayed at CBR, previously, its okay but too much walking.
Maybe we will see ya there. 2 months to go whoo hoo.

It will be me, DH and DD. Our second family trip. This year we are staying at CBR.

DD is counting the weeks...9 to go ...she gets to miss 1 week of school...so do I as I am a substitute Instructional Aide for the local school district.

HELP! We'll be at OKW 4/27 - 5/6. It will be me , Dh , DS (15) , DS (8) pirate and DS (4) pirate. My 15 yo is going out of his mind having to hang out with the family. Anyone going the same time with a teenager?

We thought about that for a quick minute and we were like, what with a 1 and 3 year old. Are you out of your mind. lol. We said if we fly we will be there in 2 hours, case closed.

I wish we were going the same time, I have DS16 wanting to bring a friend but most parents won't go for the expense.

I'm going with one of my 4 children may 4th-12th. I'm taking my son who will be turning 5. We're getting the military discount which is the only reason we were able to take the impromptu trip (the whole family is going in January). We'll be staying at POP Century for the first time!

i really feel for you - i had a love-sick 18-yo DS at OKW 3 yrs ago - he refused to go anywhere with the rest of us; just wanted to hang around OKW and the pool - making himself and us miserable. We normally bring a friend with us but that was a time when no one could make it. I bet once he gets there he'll feel better - he's still a kid.

Here's a thought - check out this thread about Secrets and Little Known Facts about Disney: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2059651 There are tons of secrets that a teenager like him might really get in to looking for while he's in the parks. I know DS loves this kind of stuff.
