Official May 2009 Thread....The wait is on!!

YAHOO! Finally got to double digits! 98 days ,16 hours, 30 minutes -but who is counting! May 17th - May 24th at BWV celebrating our 33rd anniversary!

Congrats on the anniversary! That is so special!!! The DD's and I and I the 21st thru 26th...the oldest doesnt get out of school til 6/10 thanks to all the snow/cold days we had here
We have VWL and BCV...even tho DD12 doesnt want to move resorts....

Hi Everyone! Longtime lurker, first time poster! I am so excited because we finally booked our trip for May 9-16th! We were all planned for a September 09 trip but then I found out I am pregnant with our first and due in September soooo we moved it up!

It's just myself and my husband, staying at the AllStar Music. I haven't been to WDW since I was six, in 1987, and my husband went when he was around 10.

I can't wait! 91 days!

First time for us in May...hoping going over Memorial Day isnt too bad...we have been pretty lucky with our trips.

We went over Memorial Day weekend and the following week in 2006. Memorial Day weekend can be a bit crazy but it was manageable with EMH, fast pass, baby swap etc. As the week went on it was less and less crowded. It was a great trip and I would do it again and not think twice. At the time it was me, DH, DD5 and DD 8 mos. Hope this helps...

Our family is booked for POP for May 12-19. Me, DH & DD age 2 1/2. This is her first visit and we are celebrating the 2 year anniversary of her adoption.

May 20th...CBR Pirate room!!!!!! Had to use the 7/4 deal. Any thoughts on the pirate rooms would be helpful if anybody has any!!!!

Congrats neighbor!! Our baby boy turned 21 last week(junior at Madison). DW and I will be at BWV 5-3 to 5-8. Made our ADR's yesterday.

You won't hear the dreaded phrase "cooler near the lake" in Orlando in May. Enjoy!!

Our family is booked for POP for May 12-19. Me, DH & DD age 2 1/2. This is her first visit and we are celebrating the 2 year anniversary of her adoption.

What a cutie...you have. We had started looking into adoption when the Ivf took with our son. I am still leaning towards it for next time, though. We just feel in love with the families we met that had gone through the adoption process. It is our 1st visit, too. My DD 4 is so ready to go already.

Just made our Dining Reservations today! I am new to the boards but definately not new to Disney!
This is our second springtime trip to DisneyWorld. We wanted to do Christmas this time but couldn't work it out with our work schedules. So it will be springtime again! Our last visit at the end of April 04 was absolutely lovely, so I hope it is just as nice this year! We will be staying at the Beach Club. All of the AllStar Family Suites were booked by the time we changed our trip plans! We booked the Beach Club for the SAB pool, so I hope it is completely open by May!! We will be celebrating DD's 11th birthday and our 16th wedding anniversary !
I'm happy to be doing the Happy Dance on this board with all y'all!

I made our ADRs today. Got everything I wanted but it is hard to plan when you have kids. Early/late dinner? How much can Ds do before he needs a break/ time to unwind at the pool? DH thinks I try to plan to much but I know with DDP it is not easy to decide at the last minute.

i can't belive that most of us in May are under the 100 day mark!

quick question for someone that may know the answer: we are staying at POP for 10 night vacation but we are coming in pretty late the night before our vacation starts staying at the Dolphin on some starwood points I have collected. Can I use the night at the Dolphin for the date on which to start planning my ADR's? in other words, if my vacation starts on the 16th at POP but I am arriving the night before on the 15th, can I use the 15th as my first day for plannign meals?
