Official May 17th Alaska Cruise Thread!

Thanks so much! I don't think we will be doing the shirts but thanks for the offer. We are all very excited, should I PM my names & room #'s? Or just put them on the board?

We just booked this cruise a few days ago. We would love to be a part of the FE festivities but understand if it is just too late. There would be 8 of us staying in 3 cabins on level 8, that is quite a few so just let me know what you think. Thanks!

Welcome! Any teens in your group??

How exciting!! One step closer...we didn't think we were even going to get to Palo...and now I'm so excited at the possibility...am I correct that it will be on an at sea day? I'm hoping maybe it will be on the 23rd bcuz that mils birthday:yay:

I'm starting to stress a bit about how close it's coming...am TOTALLY not prepared yet...hoping to start packing next week and I need to work on FE gifts...but it's all good...I'm also TOTALLY EXCITED:dance3:

Howmel,

It's totally not too late. We set our FE cutoff date for May 1 at 11:59 PM. What I'll need from you (on here or PM) is the following information for each state room: Names, Ages/Relation, State Room #, Dining Time, and any celebrations.

Thanks!

For those arriving in Vancouver on Monday, what transportation are you using from your hotel to the port?

Also, what are people using for return transfers from the cruise terminal to the airport?

While I am sure it is the easiest, we were looking at different options other than the Disney transfer packages.

Look forward to everyone's thoughts!

Just to clarify... all three state rooms will be participating in the FE? I was in Scouting, but turned 18 before I could complete my Eagle project. Life was my highest rank. What an accomplishment for Andrew! :thumbsup2

We are arriving on Sunday, and taking the airport shuttle to our hotel (reminds me, I have to make sure I know where to get that!). From hotel to port, we are using a taxi. From port back to airport, we are using Disney Transfer, but not checking our bags, as we are staying in a local airport hotel on Tuesday night. We will snag the hotel's shuttle to the hotel from the airport when we return.

Wow only 18 days till the cruise, I can't belive that ie is here. The Wonder is just outside San Luis Obispo on its way to Alaska. If I did not have so many things to do this weekend I would have made a day trip to see the Wonder in SF. :cheer2:

Can I please get last names for cabin #8508 and #8502? For the FE gifts.

Yes, all 3 of our rooms will participate. Is there a rule how many "gifts" you should give out?
And thank you, we are proud of our Andrew! Rooms 8508 & 8510 last name is Achter. Room 8502 last name is Collado

No rule. Most people give gifts once. You can do either one gift per person or one gift per state room. We've seen it done many different ways. It's all up to you!

So....

MontanaDJ, Magicmaginear, Ajojo, and dfsc,

How do you feel about having brunch in the private dining room inside Palo on our first full day at sea, May 18th? I hope you love the idea because, after much follow up and faxing/emailing information as it was requested, I received the following via e-mail today:

"Good Morning.

I was able to confirm your party of 13 adults in the Palo Private Room as follows: Wednesday, May 18th, 2011 at 10:30am"

:cool1: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cheer2:

We're in! I am required to reconfirm the reservation on embarkation day - and will do so per the instructions in the email. The following is information that is in the email that everyone coming to brunch should be aware of.

"Palo Policy:
o Age: Guest must be 18 years or older to dine at Palo.
o Dress Code: Brunch---Cruise casual wear suggested. No shorts, swimwear, tank tops or blue jeans are permitted.
o Cancellation: Cancellation fees - 100% of the Palo Dining Option is applied to the Guests’ folio, when the Guests do not show or have not cancelled by 7:00 PM the night before the reservation is confirmed.
o Smoking – is not permitted
Enjoy your Cruise and Bon Voyage!"

Please share with everyone in your group. Thanks!

If you have any questions, let me know. I hope you are as excited as both my DH and I are.

P.S. Our reservation numbers are as follows:
Ajojo - 1
dfsc - 4
Disney Dreams - 2
