We wanted beach club!! we have DVC and got to it too late so poly was our second choice. You won't have remorse when you are sitting at that awesome pool

LOL! The pool is a big part of why we chose. I typically go at a slower time of year and figure if the crowds are too much for me at the parks, we can spend our days at the pool and try the parks later in the day. I kept going back and forth in my brain, but when Disney came out with their Spring promo and YC was 30% off and Poly was only 10% I figured it was a sign to stick with my original plan. I actually wanted Beach Club too. Ive never been. As usual price won out. Beach Club only had lagoon and CL level left, which were a lot higher than the garden room I got at YC. Also BC only offered the 10%. This was suppose to be a long weekend trip with my daughter to watch my nieces dance performances. It quickly included my husband and a 10 night stay! We are spending our first few nights in the Disney Springs area and going to Discovery Cove/SeaWorld. I thought that would be a good way to avoid the weekend crowd at Disney. On Monday we'll check into YC and leave the following Monday. My sister will be there with her family that Thursday thru Monday Im so exicted

It sounds like you will have a wonderful trip. We love the BC and the YC is really nice, too. We're at the WL on this March trip, but are going back to the BC in May. We love being in the Epcot resort area. It is really convenient to just walk into Epcot for food and drinks. It is a nice place to stay.

We've stayed at YC before. I think BC just hates me. I keep trying to get there, but something always happens that another resort wins.....usually a better price / discount. Im not a fan of huge crowds, but between the resort pool and getting the waterparks added to my tickets, Im sure I'll be able to find a place to escape to!

My must haves are:
Complete Sunshine on 03/26 (our dolphin swim day), 04/01 and 04/02 (my nieces dances)
No Way Jose Sundae (they better not run out of peanutbutter sauce!)
My family all together

Just finished my husbands suitcase. Its all zipped and ready to go. Now to do mine and my daughters

So after the movies yesterday we did a little shopping. I go a new Dooney and Bourke and 2 new Alex and Ani bracelets

I also got a pair of UGGs my first pair since I lost weight and can actually wear them.
Still haven't figured out how I'm getting them home

Love the bracelets and D&B too! Ill have to check them out Im banned from getting another pocketbook this year. My cousin went to Hawaii a few months ago and got me the Minnie in Paradise. Hubby paid and said "Thats it" !! (I have 3 now) Hopefully I can ditch him somewhere and browse in the shops!

It's only one week since I got back, and I'm already wishing I could go again soon! Sometimes I think about just moving there but at this time I don't think that's practical for me. So it remains the destination. Disney again, they say? Yes, and again and again and again....

We've moved down there TWICE. It's not the same trust me. Both times we moved back within 2 years.

Well my Disney vacation is over We got back last night, well, technically this morning at 3am. What should have been a 15-16 hour car ride ended up being 19 hours. Have I ever mentioned that I hate driving through Georgia?? It took us 3 hours to drive 100 miles. Overall it was a pretty good trip! My niece got sick ended up having to go to the ER but after getting an IV and some antibiotics, she was feeling great and back to her normal self! I enjoyed the time spent with my family, it's been years since we've taken a vacation. I already miss Disney but it's good to be home!
