.:Official March 2015 thread!:.

Hi guys, unfortunately I am going to have to leave this wonderful group because I decided to change out our dates. Instead of going in March, we will be there at the end of January (1/23-1/30). There really wasn't a major reason why I changed them out, except that I like the lower crowds in January compared to the crowds in March, plus being from the Chicagoland area, going the end of January will break up our winter (will be able to go to some warmer weather for a week and not worry about snow :cool1:). Anyways, I hope all of you have wonderful trips to the world in March.

My sister, my Mom, my two nieces, and I are going March 1-7, 2015. This will be my niece's first trip. I can't wait to see WDW through their eyes. :) :rotfl: We will also be staying at the Caribbean Beach for the first time. Super excited!

Just switched resorts for our March 5-9 anniversary visit, from CSR to Boardwalk!!! Haven't stayed at BWV since 2012, LOVE it there & can't wait to be back:banana::cool1:

Hello everyone, I will be at WL from 3/4 to 3/7 for a short Mother and Son trip.

Will be celebrating my son's 9th birthday a week late because he will be in a school play the week before.

DH is not on board for going the 3rd year in a row, but supports us going while he gets a ski trip in.

Can't wait!

I haven't read through the thread but wanted to join in (and I sent a FB request). My eldest daughter (19) and I are hoping to go on her spring break in March. We are waiting on our resale DVC contract to close to book our stay.

Going in March again. Last March we were at the Beach Club celebrating my daughter's 21s birthday and had a fantastic time. This year she requested to return to our home away from home, POFQ! Can't wait to ride the boat to downtown Disney and we really missed the food court.

We've decided to surprise our kids & drive the 20+ hours to WDW over our March break. We'll be at POR March 14-21. I am seriously excited, but kind of daunted by the road trip!

We have driven down from South Jersey for the last 4 trips. I don't mind the drive at all. Of course there are no little ones in the car. This trip will just be myself, my daughter and my mother (girly trip).

Hi all, we'll be going March 9-14 and I just realized the live action Cinderella comes out March 13! I'm hoping they do a little something extra in the parks for it, like they've done for some other movies.

Hi!

We will be going for the first time 3/2-3/8 for my daughter Wish Trip through Make A Wish.

I am so excited to get to see Disney through her eyes.

Glad to have found this tread and I sent a request to join the FB group too. :goodvibes

I have a PTR going also....link is in my siggy!

Glad to "meet" all of you!

Hello! I'm a transplant from the December 2014 group. We just found out that my husband has to have a major surgery on his pancreas. He had gallstone pancreatitis a year ago, and now he has a lot of dead junk that has to be taken out. We were scheduled to arrive at BLT on 11/29 for our first DVC vacation, but he will be a long ways from recovered at that time. In the past 2 days, I've been scrambling around, switching our trip to 3/12-3/21. Grateful that we are able to still go in the near future.

Hi Allison!

We are a former wish family from 2006. My wish kid is now a 15 year old princess! We try to visit GKTW whenever we are back at Disney to see my daughter's star and enjoy a few hours at one of the most special places on Earth!! The love you feel and the special times your family will have are simply amazing and really no words can do justice to describing the experience. Make sure you allow time to enjoy GKTW Village. I'm happy to answer any questions if I can. Wishing you the best, from one wish family to another!

BTW, we are headed to POR from 3/22-31!

Last night I booked the KTTK tour for March 7th:banana::banana: I'm so excited!! I never thought DH and I would be going by ourselves so soon, I figured it would be in a few years when our DS's were older. But when he suggested an anniversary trip a few weeks ago, I jumped on it and lined up the babysitters by the next day :rotfl2:!!!

Have any of you done the tour? I've read tons of great reports about it. Can't wait!

I have done the tour twice. The first time was for my daughter's 16th birthday. She couldn't wait until she turned 16 so she could get into the Utilidors. We absolutely loved it. We also did it again last year when she turned 21 and this time we brought along my mother and sister. Everyone had a fabulous time!

Throwing my hat in the ring for a March 2015 trip.

I am Kristie. I am a nurse practitioner, married to dear hubby Paul who is a high school English teacher. We live in Southern Indiana, near Louisville Kentucky. Our babies...well not really babies but still to us Noah (14) and Maddie (12) will be joining us on our third family trip to the Mouse. We went before in March 2010 and October 2012.

We will be staying in a Finding Nemo family suite in Art of Animation from March 21-28.

I am totally anti summer visiting to Disney, as I am not a fan of being hot. Although our trip in October in 2012 was great and not terribly crowded I did not enjoy that it was still 95 degrees out! We loved the weather in March so we will deal with the crowds!

I look forward to getting to know everyone and hearing more about your plans!

I would LOVE it if some day one of my DS's is interested enough to want to do the tour with me! They're too young now ( 9 & 12) and not *quite* as into Disney as I am lol. But hopefully as long as we keep taking them, their love will grow and I'll get to share the tour with at least one of them in the future!

How were your tour CM's? From what I've read, the experience can really be enhanced by a good CM..........

Thank you so much PixiePoppins!

In many ways this whole thing is surreal and overwhelming. So I am dealing with it the only way I know how......super planning mode! :lmao:

Touringplans has become my favorite place. :rotfl:

I hope all of fellow Marchers are doing well! :thumbsup2

(3) Once reservations open next week for Trattoria al Forno, I'm hoping to move some ADRs around for a dinner and/or breakfast there.
(

Did you manage to get Trattoria al Forno. I quite forgot about it and now I can't find any reservations. I'll keep looking but I guess its going to be difficult with everyone wanting to try out the new place.

NARM

Both times we had excellent tour CM's. Both were extremely knowledgeable and fun.

Hi I am jumping in with a surprise anniversary disney trip for DH and I March 13-18 (our anniversary is on the 14th). I am so excited I already booked the majority of our ADRs and I am most excited about BOG which I have so many good things about. We are staying at the Boardwalk Inn and I plan on letting my hubby know on Valentines Day about our anniversary trip. He has no idea and I am bubbling over and can't wait for March to get here!

Hi there:wave2: DH and I are doing an anniversary trip too (and staying at BWV) but a little earlier in the month, 3/5-3/9. Just wanted to say that we've had dinner at BOG 4x and absolutely love it!!:goodvibes It has become mine and DS9's favorite TS restaurant, and I hope you guys enjoy it, also.
Are you going there on your actual anniversary?
