*OFFICIAL MARCH 2010 THREAD* - Lets countdown together!

WOW!!! I have one day to get everything done!!! I still have to get my house cleaned and my DH packed. Oh and clean out the car! So darn excited!!!

Cleaning tomorrow and hoping DS who has pneumonia and a sinus and ear infection gets better. Also DH and I are battling head colds. I am hoping we are all better by Saturday.

Good luck to everyone flying over/from/to the East Coast the next three days. Be patient, you'll get to WDW!

Thanks!! The weather report we just saw said 6-10 inches (or more) of snow by Friday at noon....crossing my fingers that our 7 a.m. Sunday flight will be on time and we can get to DW by 11 a.m.!! We have ressies at the Plaza for lunch and I can't wait to be down there getting a great view of the Castle eating lunch!

Its been snowing practically nonstop for the past three days and I just plain cannot wait 12 more days!

I just have to hope that the weather is good enough for take-off!

Just checked weather.com and its supposed to be 70 two days before I get there...lets hope it stays that way!

I may have forgotten to remind everyone, but does 6 days left ring a bell?:happytv:

3 full days left until we leave...deep breath...still have lotsa stuff to nail down here first...ugh...work...(but if I didn't work, I wouldn't have the money to go...sigh!)...finish packing...I'm ahead on some things but want to check my list(s) again tomorrow night to try to be all ready to fill the suitcases on Saturday...deeper breath...

Hey neighbor! We are going to be there the same time you are (5-14). we are flying out of National, though. You are a braver soul than I. My husband goes insane after 6 hours in the car. Where are you staying?

Hey right back! Sorry it took so long to reply, but my higher ups at work don't seem to get that I am busy with Disney right now and keep asking me to do stuff that THEY seem to find more important and relevant than my trip. This has seriously eaten into my Disney-related activities:mad: I mean come on, priorities people!

We either have to drive or take the AutoTrain (which we also love, but can't afford at the moment), as two members of our family are, ummm, not good on planes (in other words they would need to be run down and shot with tranquilizer darts in the boarding area, then dragged on and strapped into the seat as the only conceivable way they would make the flight ).

We're staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge this time. How about you guys?

Hey Neighbor, we need to look into the auto train for a different reason. We are buying a camping trailer from a friend of a friend and we need to pick it up in the Florida Keys! How will I ever stand another trip to Florida :lmao: We have a pick-up truck that can pull the trailer, but driving it down with luggage before we pick up the trailer is the stickler. We had been considering flying down and renting an SUV to drive it back. Our truck doesn't have a cap, so storing luggage is a trick. It does have a small back seat, but if my son comes along, he's an adult, so while his sister in the car seat will be fine, he will be squished. If we can take the auto train, that solves the problem of storing luggage and we'd be able to pull the trailer back with our own vehicle. and of course, stop at Ft. Wilderness!:yay: Renew our AP's and DIS again!! We have to decide when we can do this without missing unneccary school. It does take quite a while to drive To and FROM the Keys!! I know it costs more to bring a big vehicle on the Auto train too. I once looked into it for 4 people and a Honda Civic but ended up finding cheaper airfare. :confused3: what to do... ideas my DIS friends?

We are staying at Saratoga. We love that place.
