14 more days until we start our road trip!

Might see you there. We're headed over to FW on the 15th for the campfire!

we leave for the airport hotel at 4pm on Sunday - so I guess that is about 52 hours - so much to do before then!

Fun to count hours though.

At WDW around noon on Monday so that would be 72 hours!

We should be at WDW about the same time on Monday!!! How exciting!

Its about 33 hours before we leave!!! I'm so excited. I need to clean the house, do laundry, and pack tomorrow! I am so afraid I'm going to forget something this time. I have a checklist that I use when we travel but I still have the anxiety about leaving something (especially something important) at home. Anyone else with that fear?

i am going to have to rethink my packing - we planned on primarily shorts with some pants - might switch it around now.

I just checked the forcast and I'm going to make sure that I pack a few pairs of pants for everyone. Seems like the evenings are going to be chilly. I rather be chilly and put on a jacket/sweatshirt than sweating and absolutely miserable like we were in Sept! Monday night is going to be downright cold while we are at DHS! brrrr Doesn't mean I'm less excited though!!!!

I swear my son asked 100 times today if we were going to Mickey's House. I know it's going to get worse with each day that gets us closer to the trip. I'm so afraid we'll get there & he'll be like, "NO! This isn't right!!"

It's official-1 day to go!!! and it is 4am and I am up on the computer because I cannot sleep. So much to do today. My son has his last basketball game this morning and after that pack-pack-pack. Cannot wait until tomorrow.

We leave in 9 1/2 HOURS. I can't believe it is almost here. It is snowing and 11 degrees with the wind chill. Cold at Disney is warm to us.

Yes, it will be chilly but only in the evening. One of my favorite memories is my daughter shivering while watching Wishes and POOF, I pulled a lovely princess blanket out of my knapsack(bought at bargain store near home) and we cuddled in it. I got to snuggle with my daughter (a rare occurrence) and save the day.

absolutely - I think we all do

one thing that is nice about this trip for us this time is that I always have an anxiety on the drive home from the airport that we are going to pull up to the house and it will be burnt down or find out we have been robbed. Well this time by 23 year old nephew and his girlfriend are staying there while we are away (to watch the cats) so I know the house will be safe when I get home.

we'll be the ones with the big grins on our faces and very excited children - we should be easy to pick out (LOL).

I had hoped to have us all wear the same Mickey Mouse t-shirt that I picked up last week - now I am concerned it will be too cold for t-shirts.

I just grabbed some jackets to add to our pile-to-pack! Accuweather has it warming up for the 1st part of our trip but then cooling off again toward the end. I'm still planning on shorts...maybe I'll grab a light blanket to cover the little legs in the double stroller...

For those going the same week as us - GOOD NEWS - they raised most of the forecasts up a few degree...for both days and nights. Monday still appears to be cool but the rest of the week gets better quickly.

YEAH - HAPPY DANCE!! I personally dont care but the "Better Half" wanted to go further south this year and we have had a cold winter - I promised that it would be hot in Florida in March.

My youngest son was 5 the first time we went and as we were checking into All star movies, I told him we were finally at Disney and he looks at me and so NO this is not disney!!! That whole day he kept asking me when we were going to disney because we were not there yet.

12 hours until we leave for the airport!!! Just finished packing the last minute things. Tomorrow we will be at Disney My son has been bouncing off the walls today. Hope he calms down before we get on the plane tomorrow. Disney Here We Come!!!

11.5 hours until we leave! My 3yo didn't want to go to bed tonight. I hope she sleeps a little. I'm exhausted from packing and cleaning all day so I need her to sleep! LOL.

Its going to be nasty and rainy/sleet/snow mix in the morning. We hardly ever get that kind of weather and my son is bummed that we are going to miss it. I told him we could cancel the trip and he said oh no thats okay. I rather be with Mickey lol. I just hope its not too messy on the road tomorrow. We drive to Ga tomorrow and then the other 4 hours to Disney on Monday. WOOHOO!!!
