Can't you just hear it now. Two tourist ladies waiting in line for the restroom at The Lion King. One says to the other:

Lady 1: Did you get a picture of those men? I am sure they are the same men we saw at Buckingham Palace. I am sure we got a couple good pictures of them.

Lady 2: I heard someone say that one of them is a genius. I am pretty sure they were ushered right into a private car while we were waiting in line for the London Eye. Did you get a picture of them then?

Lady 1: Yes they must be important. We must be going to all the right places. I wonder if we will see them tomorrow.

Glad you are having a wonderful time and I look forward to the continued adventure.

Just found this today and getting all caught up. Thanks so much for taking the time to write and update us Kevin and to those posting pics, THANKS! Looks amazing. Sorry about the rough start and jet lag. Couldn't but help laughing at the Hoarders comments and John comparing you taking him on the tour to Cowboys and Aliens. Bravo for going up on the eye, I'm so scared of heights I can't imagine but the pictures look amazing. Glad they had the box seats for Lion King. You are really causing a stir from the golf cart celeb treatment to the box seats, people must really be talking . Glad you are having such a great time, can't wait to read more!!!

Another amazing day...

Started this morning with another terrific buffet here in the hotel

After that we took a bus tour to St Paul's Cathedral and then a walk across the Millennium Brideg.

We moved on to the Tower of London and a fantastic history lesson from Stephen...one of our local guides. Stephen can make history come alive with wit and style.Could listen to him talk all day.

Took our spin through the Crown Jewels and like any good Disney attraction...you empty into the gift shop.

While we were waiting for our group to re-group, we were surprised to meet Kathy and Clair (from northern Ireland) who recognized John and I at the Tower. Talk about amazing!!!!

After the Tower, we had the afternoon free. Some went to museums, some took well deserved naps, some experienced high tea.

John, Pete, Walter, me and many of our ABD travelers welcome our UK
friends with a great party here at the hotel. Food, wine and soft drinks were in great supply as was great conversation and a lot of laughs.

What a terrific way to spend the afternoon.

We just have to say THANK YOU to all of our UK friends who came out in the rain to say hello and hang out.

After our meet we got dressed and took a taxi cab flotilla to Foxtrot Oscare, where we took up the entire lower floor.

It's time to pack because tomorrow we have breakfast and head for Paris on the Eurostar.

It's going to be hard to top the days we've spent in London....but I'm sure Paris is going to give it a run for it's money.

Time to get up and pack. We have an early morning!!!

Another big thank you for the meet today! It was lovely to see you all, although there were so many people I didn't feel I mingled enough, then all of a sudden it was time to go home far too soon!

I had a lovely time, and I will hopefully see you all again soon if I can finally scrape the cash together for another trip.

I am using an 8mm Ultra Wide Lens on my DSLR for the Fish Eye shots, like the London Eye pics.

Tonight's dinner at Foxtrot Oscar was delicious. And I did take food porn photos. As did a few others.

But tonight was a little hectic when it came to taxi logistics. We were a few minutes late to dinner, even though we thought we left early enough from the hotel.

Taxis then took some of us back to Tower of London, but they really dropped us off at Tower Bridge on the other side! We barely made it in on time. But we did make it in. And it was awesome.

Then my bladder decided I needed a restroom, stat. We could not get everyone into a taxi, and I didn't take my Tube pass with me tonight.

So there are a few people I feel I owe thanks for their kindness and generosity to me tonight.

Kevin and John, Frank, and Mike and Christy: Thank you. I owe you!
