**** official june 2015 thread! **** come check in!

My oldest managed to talk my husband I to another trip this year. We went in June 2014. We will be there june 7-12 staying at the Disneyland hotel again. I wanted to try the Grand Californian but husband and the other two kids aren't excited about it. We loved the disneyland hotel last year so we know it's good.

Hi all! I'll be at the Hilton Anaheim June 4-10. I have a convention that starts June 7th, and I have family in San Diego and LA, so I'm not sure yet which of those days I'll be in the parks. I may buy a multi-day park hopper so I can go to the parks in the evenings after the convention activities are over. I'm planning for one full day, either June 5th or 6th. I've only been to DLR once before, and it was a quick one-day trip, so I'm very excited to have more time to experience more attractions and to check out DD! :woohoo: It will be hard to motivate myself to go to the convention!

My partner and I will be in Cali May 31st-June 5th.

We get into LAX on the 31st and will hang around Hollywood area and then maybe a drive down to San Diego to the beach or something and are looking for a hotel close to the parks to stay for the one night as our packaged deal was for 1st-5th and we added the 31st to have 4 full days at the parks, any suggestions??

June 1-5th we will be at Paradise Pier Hotel with 4-day parkhopper tickets.

This will be the first time for both of us going to Disneyland so I'm pretty much clueless to everything, so ANY assistance/suggestions/tips/etc would be greatly appreciated!:worship:

We will be going June 24-28th! Right now booked at Tropicana... slight possibility we may switch to Castle. If finances go well, we may upgrade to PPH!

So far it's of course me, my husband, our almost 3 year old daughter, my mother (which should make for an "interesting" trip), and possibly my brother and his girlfriend. We will spend 6/25 at DCA (lunch at Ariel's Grotto) and 6/26 and 27 at DLP.

Can't wait!!!! Last time we went was on Halloween and it was the best trip I have ever had.

My wife and I and our 2 kids, DD13, DS9 will be staying concierge theme park view at PPH 6/26 to 6/29. Part of our 15 night Cali whirlwind trip. We are from Michigan, flying into SFO, heading up to Red Bluff, coming back down through Anaheim and flying home from San Diego. We are WDW vets and excited for our first trip to Disneyland!

I have been reading about the chance of a ticket price increase soon. Those without AP's, when are you planning to get your tickets? I was thinking about ordering mine soon. I'll get them from GAT so I can get the insurance for them. I get nervous spending that much money for a trip that is so far out! I've had to cancel vacations before, but if they are insured I guess I don't really have to worry. I'm interested to know what the rest of you are doing.

nikerbokers & fsupharm77 - you've been added to the list!

We don't have AP's. I've purchased 2 of our 4 tickets so far through aRes Travel, which Mousesavers highly recommends....works similarly to the Orbitz Disneyland tickets where you take a voucher to the DL ticket booth. Am hoping to buy 1 of the other 2 remaining tickets soon before prices supposedly go up!

I decided to pull the trigger and bought mine from GAT this morning. With the $20 insurance, if anyone offers a better deal I can call and price match, and get some money back. Five 5 day passes is a lot of money in one shot, but now I don't have to stress about price increases. We've used GAT a few times, and been happy with their customer service.

I've heard good things about Ares, too. Do they offer insurance?

Looks like it's time for me to join here. We are going in June. 99% sure we are going Jun 2-8, staying at Disneyland Hotel, Premium view (I think). There is a slight chance we'll switch the trip to 2 weeks later but very slight.

I bought our tickets last week. Just working on nailing down which flights. I hope to get those booked this week.

I'm not sure if they offer insurance or not. The tickets are good through 1/31/2016, though.

AngiTN: you've been added! Welcome!

I just booked yesterday for June 21 through 26th at Candy Cane Inn.

I was getting nervous that I was taking too long to make up my mind and pull the trigger, and I wanted to make a definite reservation before the 60th announcements were made last night. I have a feeling that hotel prices are going to start increasing rapidly as people get excited about the new festivities.

We're road-tripping out to California, and we haven't decided how many days we'll actually take for Disneyland versus other L.A. activities. Can't wait!!!

I went on and booked our flights today, before word starts to spread and the times we want sell out. We are definitely doing 2nd to the 8th

My daughter and her boys decided to come along. Please change our dates from early June to June 26-July 3. We will now be staying in a family suite at Camelot Inn. Has anyone else stayed at Camelot?

That's when we'll be at the parks! We've stayed at Camelot before, several times, but it's been about five years. We liked that they have a small dining table in the suite, as when the kids were small one of them was on a special diet, and we ate in the room a lot.

Camelot is currently having a sale, I'm sure you know, which is nice! It's still cheaper for us to do a mini suite at BWPPI, which works well for us, so that's what we do now.
